Tonight when I get home I will be blocking A&E on all our DVR's.

Don't get me wrong. A&E has every right to do what they have done. They are a private business and can run it however they please.

However, I won't support A&E for trying to punish a man for stating his beliefs.

Block Phil and the gang and I'll just block A&E cause I damn sure ain't gonna miss Honey Boo Boo. Why don't y'all just play Brokeback Mountain over and over and see how your viewership goes?"

There's a reason they call it the "Boob Tube" and it has nothing to do with breast cancer. I blocked every channel more than 8 years ago and quickly discovered a "real world" drama playing out called life.

The "Toob" (like how I combined the two together?, I'm clever that way) is nothing more than an electronic pacifier to keep the sheeple occupied and subdued. More than likely the entire thing was planned out and executed with precision just to stir up some controversy so that more viewers would Toon in (as in cartoon) to get their ratings and sales up.

YouTube kittens are more valuable than what this guy may or may not have said, or what A&E (apathy & egregious) does.
 
I like Phil.
I like his old school mentality.
It could be a ratings ploy, or it could be the real deal.
Again, for me, old school...... sticks and stones.
So long as no blood id drawn, he be able to speak his mind.

We have become a nation of wusses. If you say something that one group doesn't agree with then you are punished like a criminal. What happened to our first amendment? Free speech. Can we not have our own thoughts anymore?
Every time something has been said about the gays something is always done in retaliation to that person from the organizations. Remember Chick-fil-a.

Now its Blogging and Social Media.

People can't Separate the Stance of beliefs from hate. If you Believe in a Traditional Family you must Hate Gays, this is ridiculous.

Its really like you cannot or need to fearful of having a Opinion.

Phil said it perfectly. Too many people assume that just because you don't like something about someone else, or don't agree with them, that you are required to hate them. I cannot think of a person in the world that I hate. There are a few that I do not trust, though. And believe me, there are plenty that I disagree with. I am probably the only person you know that has been unfriended by his 6th grade teacher on facebook, because he disagreed with her.
