New Chemical Pump Acting Up?????

My brother-in-law cleaned the shingle roof on their house in Boca a few years ago with a garden sprayer.

Apparently, he has new streaks and is ready to step his game up.

He emailed me this link & asked me what I thought about the pump.

I told him that I had no idea, that I had heard ShurFlo was a good product, but that I would check with the "experts":

Is this for a business or personal home use?
 
For his home. He already has a 25g water tank.
 
I suppose it would work but you might be wasting more chemicals than needed. You gotta make sure if that pump is chemical resistant. Some of those washdowns pumps are for fresh water use.
 
I told him about what mix to use, but I had no idea some pumps were made for chemicals and some weren't. Guess I figgered he simply had to rinse it out thoroughly.
 
It might be fine. There are people in here that are more savvy than I am when it comes to these pumps. Try to get as many opinions as possible. Also have him buy the warranty plan it will be well worth it.
 
Funny thing is -- lots of guys on this board love to tell you what they think, except not when you really want to hear it.
