lets call PHIL Akland Hood Expert in Kitchen Cleaning & Pressure washing

Some of us thought you were at the Olympics, judging curling. I just couldn't take my eyes off it, what a sport for the rest of us.

Nice catch. I was in Florida 2 weeks ago, with intentions on some deep sea fishing. Someone decided to help themselves to a few hundred dollars cash out of my wallet and my laptop while we were on the beach. Our plans kinda got shot after waiting 3 hours for the police to make a report.

What's your location in that photo?

We are in Puerta Vallarta MX. They are a couple of friends from Canada. I've got a couple more pictures I'll post later

What Happened?

so what happened in phx back in jan. ..thought phil had a metting there.....er.....here??

Phil's nickname "The Guru of Grease" was given to him by Robert Hinderliter. He is a very knowledgeable man, but there are many others who also fit in that category. I always heard that knowledge is power and I beleive that to be true. We can always learn from others if we are willing to listen with an open mind.

I think I read that in a fortune cookie once.;)

Open minds seem to be very few sometimes.

Especially when you mention Chinese Restaurants.

Hey Larry I heard thru the grapvine that Mr. Hinderliter has some other nicknames for Phil relating to buying lunch:p :p .

It's been a long time since we've seen a Phil post....WTF?!?!?!!?

Thanks Tammy...I was just wondering if besides the Ask a Guru section Phil partcipates regulary.... We'd love to see MORE activity here on "THE BBS" for Greasers. And other specialties as well but it seems like the bulk of greasers are most active on this channel.. Thanks.

I would like to see if we could get phil to come in once a week and post. we would exchange a banner about Phil akland holdings?

a 6 burner stove only needs 3 nozzles if if has a shelf, normally it will have 1 (1flow)nozzle between the 1st 2burners front to back, and 1 ( 2 flow) nozzle centered on the other four burners. When a shelf is present 3 (1 flow) nozzles are used and are located foward of the shelf and pointed center of where the front 3 burners meet the 3 burners to the rear.

I hear that they discussed some new leak testing methods using water to test ducts instead of the current 100 watt light bulb. Which I believe is a good idea because of the grease that leaks through the ducts onto the hoods causing another fire hazard not protected by the hoods suppression system.
