Since I run around with mostly a full tank (300 gallons) and all the pressure washing equipment in the back a gas truck would be at the pump all the time. I am at 11000 lbs most of the time and have to pull a trailer once in awhile when I help with parkade cleaning (7000 lbs). I got an 05 dodge dually with 77000 miles on the clock, 1/3 of the new price with 4wd, quad cab, and a 6 speed manual trans. The truck is a work truck, but I needed the option of throwing my now 10 month old son in the back when mom needed a break. The interiors on the dodges from this era are not great, neither is the front end steering or suspension. Although most of that stuff I can do myself as I was into mechanics before I was pressure washing.
Other thing to keep in mind taxes on diesel up in Canada are less, I can get diesel at my local cardlock for 15-20% less then gas right now. Put that on top of the fuel savings and it adds up fast.
