I don't do invites Ron. I don't entertain my clients more than lunch until I have a relationship built with them. Getting them isn't the problem for me its keeping them so once they are in they are taken care of very well. Next year I have a suite at the Nascar Nation Wide race that I will be taking my top ten clients to. This Wednesday I'm taking three clients out to dinner at Jeff Ruby's Steak House to try and close a 125k deal on top of the 25k they already do with us every year.
I guess I just take a different approach to it. In the end it's all about making it work for you! I may try out the invitation thing!
You have to keep in mind these are already selected possible customers. Targets!!
So lets ask this question?
What's the difference sending a post card or a piece of cheese cake?
Everyone sends some literature that gets thrown away.
Making a possible customer obligated gets you the appointment. Crazy out of the box promo!!!
I'm getting huge returns on sending lunch first and taking rfp after.
No sky box for me, I did that. Not knocking it just as you say , just isn't my style. I like giving good seats that a client can enjoy intimately with family or close friends. Four seats preferable. Our boxes are 5000 a game or more. Bigger market here. Bidwell thinks his stadium is gold.
I like 100 seats in the bleachers an having all that accept.
Don't get me wrong we have VIP and they get what ever they want. Most already have sky box.
Good stuff DJ , keep it up!
