However this page as with most forums has a Page Rank of 0 so the chances of your link in your posts being counted as "votes" are pretty slim. Thats not to say you won't get visitors to your site from your posts.
When starting a website, my first method of getting links is to search for directories and places to submit my site to (the one's that dont require a reciprocal link).
Next stage if possible is to have reciprocal link campaign, Now i realise this is not always possible depending on the nature of your business. Look for sites that are of intrest to your visitors that will agree to a reciprocal link.
