Impressive Craigslist ad

I run an ad for each service but also list my other services on the "we also do" part of the ad. I place an ad for each of my service everyday if my lead time gets below 2 weeks or back off the ads if I get too swamped to do the bids. The ads are nothing overly special except for me being proud of them cause of the work I put into making them(And I suck at computer stuff). I beleive its success is due to it stands out from the other posters out there. It just stands out of the crowd more. Also if they click on any of the buttons or video then it takes em away from Craigslist.

This is the version I use now. This winter I will design new ones with better messages.

I get quite a bit of business through craigslist. The majority of my customers (residential, obviously) are snowbirds or out-of-town landlords with both short- and long-term tenants, so craigslist makes sense.
Also, while most craigslist browsers are indeed value-minded, I immediately sell professionalism because, hey, only hacks advertise on craigslist, right? Myself not included of course...

Once you set up the ad you will usually get a reminder to renew.

I Also send out an email flier that has worked pretty well for me.

No, not really. I hate having to pull the reins due to not having the competent workers needed to keep up with the demand. Beginning of the year that will be my first priority.... stop finding deadbeat workers and pay up and get a real crew.
