Apparently I have been Banned from the event because Jeremy speakers won't speak if I attend.

So Since I was invited by Jeremy and then at the last minute after Flights Booked , hotel & rental car paid for he decides to tell me I'm un-invited.

Real professional, yeah I'm a Little PO'ed

Doug Rucker seems to think we should go anyway.....

My question would be I would have never said I was going unless I had been invited. I thought it would be fun, apparently this is not Jeremy event.

I figured Jeremy invited me because he had attended a few of my events free. I attempted to pay the Fee's on Fri, the card wouldn't work, I tried several cards even ask someone else to register me. Same default. Called Jeremy to be ignored , finally he calls after 48 hours to tell me I can't come because speakers will back out if I'm there.


Here's my next question, who would be afraid having me in the audience?

Here we go another attempt to hurt me...

I won't tell you what happened Yesterday to my family, funny that I was accused by someone of calling speakers families members also.

Maybe I'm not suppose to attend? Maybe this is a Sign from Above!!

Whats the Thoughts , would you go if your not welcome?
 
I called Jeremy and am waiting for him to return my phone call. I would like to specifically find out why this decision was just made or told to you at the last hour.

My feeling here is that if "they" did not want you to attend, something should have been said long ago ( as a professional courtesy)prior to you and I making our travel arrangements. There are many threads and post's, on Facebook here and other forums where it was clear you and I had plans to attend. Both of our travel arrangements have been made, and they have been made around each others as we have work to do outside of the Huntsville Event. In fact our travel arrangements were made specifically around this event.

Not to doubt you Ron, but as I look at the list of speakers, guy's like Michael Kreisle, D.J. Carroll, Perry Tait, Curt Kempton, while I do not know these guy's personally, I just can't see any one of those guy's saying Hey I am not speaking if Ron is there, kind of childish if you ask me, and those guy's certainly do not seem like that kind of guy's to let one man control there life. There has to be some other reason or misunderstanding.

As of today the web site still says the event is open to anyone. Something just doesn't sound right here. Hopefully I can get a call back from Jeremy soon.

Wow if that's true I'm pretty disappointed. Jeremy is a good guy I would hope he wouldn't just ban you like that

Originally it was going to be a good marketing event but now its looking more and more like a big window cleaning event. Window cleaners without Ron on location in Huntsville

as for the banning, if its true, then Thats straight up bs. I personally would disassociate myself with someone that did that.


you guys paid for everything, hotel , travel, bla bla. go to huntsville and have a good time somewhere else. where i dont know ? but go have a vacation, you earned it. go bug russ
 
Since everything was paid for and they just told you that you cannot attend, those crybaby candyasses that won't speak should reimburse you for your expenses that were paid, that is fair.

I agree, if they did not want you to attend, this should have been mentioned in the beginning so you would not have paid the money.

I wonder who the crybaby is that is going to have a hissyfit and not want to talk if you attend? This is so childish it is funny. Maybe we should send them some diapers and a baby pacifier.

I thought that this was Jeremy's event where he makes the rules and invites who he wants.

I think it was posted that you were going for a while now, looks like an attempt to just screw Ron out of his money by saying he cannot go after things are paid for and are not-refundable.

This should have been talked about with Jeremy in the beginning so all the cards are on the table, not at the last minute.

I am sure that the crybabies are not man enough to say who they are so we know who screwed Ron out of money that he spent, they will just hide like cowards, I could be wrong but I think I am right about this.

I don't know any of you personally and we are a new business but I hold a very high standard of moral values. I have spent several hours researching this industry and have learned alot from you guys. I appreciate everything you have done for this industry. Jeremy called me yesterday to see if I would go. I was going to and was even going to bring my wife as we are partners in life as well as the business. But after reading about this situation with Mr. Musgraves I do not think we will be attending this workshop. To me it's very disrespectful to invite a guy to an event and then after he has made all of his arrangements to be there tell him he is uninvited. I have busted my ass to begin building a successful business and business is picking up because of the things I've learned from you guys. I thank you all for building up the PW Industry and sharing your info and ides on these forums. It's very sad and dissapointing to me to think that guys on these forums can be less than professional. I sincerely hope this is some sort of misunderstanding. Holding yourself to a higher standard of values has always been a priority and sucessful for me. Rance many guys have called me tonight, go to the event. If I told you not to go that would be as bad as the folks who are telling me I can't.

Plus I will be there, I have Flights and rooms booked. I'll be glad to meet you and will have some fun after the show ends each day.

Who are these speakers who will refuse to speak if Ron is there?

There are only four speakers who know who Ron Musgraves is.

Here they are:

April Dodson
Michael Kreisle
DJ Carroll
Thad Eckhoff

According to Doug, Jeremy said there are at least two speakers who said they will not speak if Ron is there.

Since all four of these have a presence on Pwi here is the opportunity to speak up and clear your name if you are not one of the two or more.

IF you are one of the two (or more) here is your chance to emerge from the shadows and let everyone in the powerwashing community why you would make the decision to refuse to speak if the President of the UAMCC is present.

This is ridiculous!!!
They should PAY you guys to attend and speak.Whoever is in charge for this event (and I'm sure it's not only one person with a fat around brain) is retarded.
At one point I was sad 'cause I will not attend this event but I'm OK now.My understanding is those events should benefit entire industry and help contractors to get more work ($) or work smarter.Of course,not in this case.
That is just plain STUPID.....Was there a fee to attend?
Well, doesn't matter....
 
Being new here and reading the forums I got the impression that the PW community here was a tight knit bunch of people helping people unlike the heavy and highway construction industry that I used to work in. Always back stabbing others. Got laid-off in Oct. 2011.Have'nt missed it a bit. Well I guess I got carried away with my earlier post and I apologize for passing judgement on anyone without knowing the whole story. Totally out of character for me. Truth is I saw a little familiar type of contraversy I used to see all the time on jobs( that I have'nt missed) and i guess it took me back to them days in disapointment. Sorry for sticking my nose in where it don't belong. Peace out and Happy Power Washing to all.
