Just took a shower after finishing boarding the windows, checked gutters, inspected shingles and vents. Now is just the waiting game. Is gonna be a long night.

We headed down to galveaton at about 2 pm and the wave breaks were over 30 ft. We're at home now. Used one of our water tanks from our trailer for fresh water. Will keep everyone updated.

.......already one dead in Harris county and Ike isn't even here yet.
22 stranded on a freighter that can't seem to get rescued.
Galveston is under water and out of power.

We're ok. Our fence was knocked down but that's it. Our neighbors, not so lucky. Roof damage, broken windows, fence damage, etc. But everyone seems ok. Our houses came with storm windows, some just chose to not install them.

Im still doing fine so far....We now are getting the heavy winds and rain....Had to lay down for 2 hrs and get some sleep but Im up now....Type at yall later

Well Im done.....everything has cleared out here and we suffered NO damage,never lost power or internet....Life Is Good....

We probably will move but not till tomorrow. We will get everything secured today, and jump on the motorcycles and skip traffic. Ive got family near conroe and San antonio so we have places to go, but figured we could make some extra $ before we go. Now all of our neighbors are asking us to do theirs. We may market this next year.

Good to hear everyone made it through the storm. New meaning to the term "help thy neighbor" I guess.

Problem now is no power. They say to be prepared to not have power for 2-4 weeks and poss. Longer. I'm sleeping on my pool table in my garage just to get a nice breeze.

Oh yea, now we are being pounded again and preparing to flood again.

I just hope my 7k in jobs for this week aren't damaged. Would be a big week to lose.

Glad to hear you guys are surviving. Scott, I hate to say this but by the looks of things that we have seen on the news things don't look very good. Hope all goes well for y'all and you can get back up and running quickly. Our prayers are with all of you.
