I know this isn't addressed to me but I'd like to say one thing Chris. Let me preface it with that fact that we don't know each other and I'm just looking at the overall picture here. It seems to me that instead of piling on (again my intepretation of what happened here) you should have called or messaged Ron today about the fact that this bothered you. It would have been easy to resolve and neither of you would have felt wounded publicly by the ensuing back and forth and piling on by Mike to feed his point. Again just my take on it. The beauty here for you is that Ron is one of the best guys I know and won't hold this against you when you need help. Not many guys I can say that about.

You know I was perfectly content on letting it go, in fact I had let it go. But when I read what I did this morning (My 1st post here) I couldn't just let it slide anymore. Believe me I tried to let it go, even turned off my computer, but ultimately I couldn't. I had to have Ron defend himself here publicly, and he did. I see his point and hopefully he saw mine. I'm am glad that he won't hold it against me, and I won't hold this against him either. I am glad that it is solved, but sorry that I didn't try to solve this a month ago. Guess I figured that it was better to brush it under the rug, and today that rug was pulled from under me. So If I have a problem Ron I'll be sure to call you out that day, and if you have a problem with me you can call me out and we can hash it out or what not. I still respect and like you Ron. Even if you don't.

Hopeless in what regard? I called you after your last post and spoke with you about what you had to say. You have no basis for personally attacking my character on the internet and talking about my other profession in which you know nothing about me or my character.. You agreed that this forum is not what it used to be. Your the person that should want this forum to be positive and good for the membership at large and your in a position ot do something about it. Choose what you may.

I would like to see this post closed and removed based upon what you wrote about me in here Ron.

I don't think any of us can draw a full conclusion on the other based on the very few conversations we have had. Basically Ron, I don't know you that well to draw a conclusion. Who knows maybe in the furture we will be best buddies, or rivals to the bitter end.. LOL. Point is Ron I like you for now and that's all that matters. I may not agree with some things you say or do, doesn't mean I think less of you.

My references were not about you. I have always held you in high regard and know that you are a man's man. I know that you are not an 8th grader, but usually the voice of reason in many of the things that are wrong here. I do not hold some of the people involved in the UAMCC in the same regard as I hold you. Alot of conversations are aimed at making this industry better (in alot of ways), and I do not see the actions meeting the words here on PWI. People's behavior is usually a direct indicator of the type of person that they are. I have met in person and spoken to many on the phone people who regularly visit here, I just cannot understand why there is such a sense of negativity and bashing everytime someone does not agree. The posts about law enforcement here are ridiculous and they are a personal attack on my profession. Just as those who make these posts are entitled to their opinion, so am I or the others that post a dissenting view. But true to form, out come the attacks. It is childish and that behavior continues into other matters that peoiple here are in disagreement over.
I rired to say it respectfully in this post above, but this behavior is lacking professionalsi and takes away from the PWI that once was..

Ha, Mike P complains about people making personal attacks on his profession but he has bragged to me in person about how just the night before one of his fellow officers threw a guy to the ground face down for tossing a bag of pot to him instead of handing it to him.
He also said "there is plenty about my job I wouldn't tell Tony Shelton or post on the internet. Whats that definition of irony...?
