I thought Tony was always right.......

Congratulations Michael. You have something there to really celebrate. A veteran moves into a new apartment complex, gets lost in a nearby complex that looks the same trying to find his new apartment and the cops murder him in the parking lot when someone reports a car driving slowly around and around the complex.

Cheers! Hooray! Justice served.

The plan was to shoot a bean bag round into his car. One dumbass cop hears the beanbag shotgun go off, pisses his pants and fires off seven rounds from an AR-15 and kills the guy and makes his wife a widow.

I'm sure you can identify. Maybe taking the guns away and given them some "Depends" would be safer for the community.

But, as usual, you don't know what you are talking about. The grand jury system here isn't the same system you guys use when you round up potsmokers and send them to prison leaving their children fatherless for years. This grand jury system is the pet project of the police union devised when the public demanded change from the former "coroner's inquest" that was used before when your brothers in blue murdered citizens in cold blood.

Here is some insight into how the "grand jury" here works:

...................Even worse is the secrecy of grand juries. Nevada conducts their grand jury proceedings under what amounts to a full gag order. Nobody involved in a grand jury may publicly disclose any of the evidence presented to the jury, information obtained by the jury, events or statements occurring in front of the jury, or even the results of an investigation by the grand jury. The lone exception to this is individual witnesses, who are limited to discussing their own personal testimony. Breaking these restrictions is a criminal act.

What this effectively means is that the DA’s office and the courts have complete control over what information goes before the jury and what is disclosed to the public afterwards. As lopsided as the Coroner’s inquest was, at least it was a public spectacle that was available to be scrutinized by the community at large. No such transparency exists with grand juries. Basically, a prosecutor can call only sympathetic or unconvincing witnesses and do a half-hearted effort while questioning them to ensure the jury doesn’t find enough evidence to support a criminal charge and then hold their failure to issue an indictment up as proof that a shooting was justified. Nobody outside of the grand jury room would be able to refute this assertion since everything took place behind closed doors and none of them are allowed to speak about what they saw.

What this means is the prosecutor, who is the lap dog of the police, can, in total secrecy, feed the grand jury as much or as little information as he likes and there is not one soul who can ever speak about it or inquire into it.

I know you like this because it covers up the murder and corruption that you hold so dear and defend so well.

Well played. Celebration. Veteran dead. Killer back on the streets. Congratulations. You win again.

Would you like me to send you the phone number of his widow so you can tell her how happy you are about her piece of sh#t minority husband being dead too??

I am not celebrating, just figured that since this was close to your home, I would point out that you were wrong with all of the hatred you spew on this forum about cops and what you believe that they do wrong. You have again proven to me that you are a hate filled blow hard whose opinion means nothing to me.

Carry on........

Did you get elected to public office yet so that you can make all the changes you want? LOL!! screwball.png

Yeah, I am wrong. 7 rounds from an AR15 is what all of us citizens deserve for the crime of being lost or confused.

Keep defending it. That assures us you are a part of it.

If anyone wants to read about the corruption and devaluation of life here you only have to look at wiki.

Tony,

Your exagerations about the grand jury system are funny how you depict them..... see this link

They work like this in many states, it is not a pool of people picked byt he police as you indicate to clear them.

Those were not my words. I copied them from a news story.

This system WAS handpicked by the police union. The people demanded a new system that allowed the victims side of the story to be expressed after the murder of Erik Scott.

What they got was stonewalling by the police union and a backlog of almost two years worth of their murders.

When it was clear there would never be any chance of any kind of transparency due to the fact that the police union threatened walkouts the DA switched it to the grand jury system. A system that is behind closed doors just exactly as the article I quoted described.

The police union cheered! The people were screwed out of what they wanted again. Strangled by the heavy hand of threats.

But you know all about that don't you Michael? Why don't you post up all the wonderful ways you, as a rep of the PBA have screwed your community and caused them to hate the Police union there in Westwood? Why don't you post up the threats you guys made to the elected officials when extorting the people for more money?

Thugs and criminals. At least the mafia could only hurt you at the moment. You thugs extort and cage your opponents for years or just frame and kill them.

Enjoy it while it lasts. The old generation that gave you that power is dying.

Hey Tony I know u were in surveillance, I am looking for a good in car video camera. Something that will work in day/night mode and can instant replay video right on the camera? Also needs to be able to swivel and have audio as well. I want to make sure that the next time I get harassed coming home in the early am hours that I am not at the mercy of these criminal bastards.

Nick, that was so many years ago! We used the two piece Panasonic vhs units because we could attach 1000mm Camera lenses on them and park blocks away. Also the courts used VHS for playback.

My main vehicle was a gray (inconspicuous) Ford Aerostar with camera boom mounts at the windows and a small monitor to watch so I didn't have to peek out the window. A camera could easily shoot through a 1 cm slit in the curtains. I also owned a gray Plymouth Champ (completely unnoticable), ax Lx Mustang, a Ford Escort (also gray) and a red Fiero to mix it up a little. These were all tools of the trade.

I loved the work at first. I understand why adrenaline junkies want to be cops. The adrenaline rush you get from watching a doorway for 12 hrs, then finally seeing the subject exit, trying to follow him without getting burned, then eventually getting usable video is amazing.

What I was doing was right. We were all civilians, no ex cops in our firm. We were taught to be honest in our reports and our findings. The one guy who wasn't (out of eight) was fired and subsequently became a cop. (Surprised?)

We were stopping theft. It was a noble cause.

But even in that vocation, laziness and impatience leads to dishonesty. To speed things up we dressed as various delivery or utility employees to positively id the subject when time would have eventually id'd them anyway at the doctors or lawyers office. But we were encouraged to lie to save time. I was constantly on the phone lying to the subject's relatives to make my job easier.

I didn't see anything wrong with it at first till I started realizing that all of us took it home with us and lied to everyone around us making the excuse that it is better to lie if the end result is what we considered a good result.

This is what happens in any industry where lying is tolerated in any form.

After about 5 years I left the industry. I opened my own agency, but found I didn't have the self control at that point in my life to refrain from the deceptive shortcuts.

It took me years to escape the lie lifestyle. I live in a much better world now.

Nick, I am out of the loop now, but I would suggest you get a one button record app on your phone.

10-4 Thanks

1.7 million dollar wrongful death verdict that we, the taxpayers have to pay. But the scumbag who killed him was ruled justified and every scumbag up the chain of command defends his actions.

http://www.lvrj.com/news/bumbling-detective-made-mistakes-but-kept-story-straight-138466104.html

As long as the "jury of my peers" is fed partial, false and misleading information in the secret room of the grand jury, we can only wait for justice to come in the open arena of the civil court system.

Unfortunately it is us, the tax payers, who suffer, not the scumbag murderers.

Not even counting the countless number of lawsuits in process, Las Vegas Metro Police Department has paid out more than 8.4 million in SETTLED cases since 2009!!! THREE YEARS!!!!!! 8.4 MILLION DOLLARS OF THE TAXPAYERS MONEY.

Yet not one of those suits has resulted in the firing of a SINGLE officer.

Great job.

Keep up the good work and keep defending them.

Tony,

I could really care less about your anti government, anti cop, anti law, anti anyone disagreeing with you agenda. You and some of your closest friends have ruined this bulletin board. This used to be a place where there could be intelligent business discussion for people involved in the same trade. This has gone away in favor of your ridiculous rants and complaints about everything in the world that you disagree with. Start your own hate mongering board called "Tonys Place." Perhaps you think that PWI is a great sounding board for you since some people here (for some unknown reason) respect what you have to say or like to kiss your ass. Thats great for you, but ever since your medical problem, you have become a real jackass.

Perhaps you should focus on your business, you know, the one thats so successful that you could not pay your mortgage from it......http://www.propowerwash.com/board/u...Housing-bubble-Anybody-hit&highlight=mortgage

Perhaps you can get someone else in your family to buy you a gun for your personal revolution, since you can't on your own.

Perhaps before you spend all day and night on here telling everyone how much of a stand up guy you are, tell them about the things you did in the past the don't allow you to buy a gun. Perhaps thats why your a system hateing, half ass soverign wann-be.

I will not respond to any more of your posts or anything that you say with anything other than the picture below.
This personifies you....... carry on screwball.png

That's right, keep talking. You make my case with every scumbag word that comes out of your elitist mouth.

Go back to your part time craigslist distributor job and leave the business talk to the real men who stick their necks out and generate their own income instead of sucking the community dry of every dime and robbing crackheads for extra Christmas money while pretending to be entrepreneurs.

I'm still in my house. And guess what? I earned the money I pay on my mortgage.

That is why I had a tough time during the recession and you sailed right through.

You are leach on society in a town where even your own people can't stand the thought of paying you. That is why you have so much money and time to search craigslist to prey on real business men who at least TRIED before they failed to scoop up their equipment for pennies. Here's what your own citizens have to say:

Westwood Mayor Thomas Wanner (published in Pascack Press 8/11/04):
"I have had several threats made on me and my family as a result of this issue." (on merger w/ County Police)

Fear of police retaliation:
M. Griston of Westwood (published in Pascack Press 8/18/04):
"We . . . should not cower behind the bleachers because the school bully wants to beat us up. . . . I say, you who make threats are no better than those terrorists who we are fighting all over the world. . . .I thought long and hard about writing such a letter for fear of retaliation from the police . . ."

Over-funded police department burdens taxpayers:
Roy G. Jones of Westwood (published in Pascack Press 9/15/04):
"The Westwood Municipal taxes that took 24 years to double will have doubled again in just two years. . . . it is no longer a question of "if," but "when" my wife and I have to leave Westwood . . . After the Mayor's . . . letter to this paper, the police chief's first order of business should have been to find out who made threats to him and his family, not with writing smug, self-serving Op-Ed articles. . . .it's time that they (police) got to realize that nothing is written in stone and that we do not owe them a sheltered, soft, over-paid job for life."

Here are your tactics, from your own police bulletin:

Westwood PBA #206 Bulletin (circa October, 2004):
" . . . their (Emerson's) Mayor gets very uncomfortable when there is a large showing of police officers, so lets make him as uncomfortable as we can."

If you think that is what you can do with me you've got another think coming. No one on here kisses my ass, but I hereby invite you to.

If you ever try to intimidate me in any way that doesn't consist of hiding behind that keyboard you are liable to find out real quick how wrong you are about my current "rights" situation. In other words stay up there where you've succeeded in disarming the citizens so you can beat them without repercussion.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
