Hi all
before i started in the cleaning business about six years ago i used to sell fish for 3&half years.
befor that i sold kitchens which i disliked very much to put it a nice way,
but when i left there i was in the top 3 sales reps in the uk,
and even befor all that i traveled around Newzealand and Austraila for a couple of years doing numerious diffrent diffrent jobs from milking cows to a crop sprayer in Western Austrailia, loved every minute of it. I would love to
visit the States for a few months.
My very first job was at fourteen years old milking cows after school and on a saturday i used to get to drive the tractor in the morning for feeding WOOOO HOOOO.
Sometime i had to get up at five in the morning befor school and milk those dam cows.

I still build cabinets for a friend on occasion,but it costs him big money,but I can turn out a complete kitchen and 2 baths in 2 days.All his guys have to do when I'm done is spray laquer and install.

Hi all
I thought i had a bit of a mixed past, Some of you guys have done loads of different things which i think is great. It tends to build a good all round person that has charicitor & can turn there hand to nearly anything.

Quite honestly, this is my first business. Now it has ahd a bit of a metamorphosis ove rtime to better hit profitabel markets, but I still have the original business name.
I have owned others over the years and will soon veture into another establish operation. (won't disclose so dont ask)
I can't even take a guess at how many over the years. I have done many different things. Owning and running niteclubs was fun, but it was taxing on family and even freinds.

Pelham was something, we worked our azz off in that south Georgia heat. Picking melons is no joke! Gnats, my bad I'm not the best speller (knats).

23-28 sysco foods(great company) started in the warehouse and went to delivery driver last three years

’53-60 worked on family farm, cattle & crops, we were city farmers. I helped bail hay, plowed and planted the fields mainly corn and soybeans. We had sheep, poultry, dairy cattle, steers, pigs, and horses. Drove farm tractors, trucks and semis. Helped my Dad with his businesses, white washing dairy barns, plastering silos, used car lot, junking cars at scrape yards.
’61 First real job was a shipping receiving clerk at paint/glass store.
’62 got married and we still are!
’62-86 I had warehousing, packaging, manufacturing, production & inventory control, rail and truck fleet management type jobs. These (8 or so) companies that I worked for dealt in a very wide range of stuff. Timing devices, radar systems, piston pins, textbooks, compressed gases, solvents, resins, and general freight
I drove truck when unemployed hauling grain, compressed gas, steel, cattle, pigs, hay and straw.
Having a background in handling chemicals in transportation has helped me in running my mobile cleaning business.
’84 started my cleaning business part-time.
’86 Lost my last Real job and I have been fulltime commercial cleaning contractor ever since.
Future - no plans just yet for retirement!

’62 got married and we still are!
’62-86 I had warehousing, packaging, manufacturing, production & inventory control, rail and truck fleet management type jobs. 16 I worked for a pinball machine distributor. Started out manning the joint, Then delivering, then I was going on buying trips with the owner to other states. My parents actually let me miss high school for these trips.
18 Kmart for a year.
19 Motorola
19-21 Church Mission to France and Belgium
21 to 25 Motorola again in Lap room
25 Utility first night loader for the delivery trucks, then warehouseman, and working in scrap yard finally finished by writing the complete Hazardous waste program for the utility. It is still in use.
Off for a year at 29
30 Drove a milk truck, and was eventually supervisor with 105 drivers.
Baby cried when I came home one day because he was scared of strangers. I quit within a week.
Drove a truck delivering CHemicals to California for a year.
36 to now, Full time pwash gig. For what it is worht, I started the business when I was off for a year, but did not have a lot of direction at that time.
