Houston!

To ALL associate members who made the convention possible, BoD and committee members, speakers, helpers, Nichole, Leilani, Ron, attendees and anyone else that helped put it together... THANK YOU! One of the best events I have attended - came away with some great information, made some new friends and had a blast!

It was great seeing friends from other events, great to see people I have not seen in years, wish I had more time to talk to the guys in Houston, just so many people to say hi to and talk to, I hope nobody thinks I was not being friendly enough, not my intention, just trying to be friendly to a lot of people.

This was an amazing event with great speakers!

Great to see everyone again!

One word describes the Houston Event.....OVER THE TOP.

Chris C.....thanks for giving me the lifts to the conference man and certainly appreciate your insight on the subjects that we spoke about.

Also a big THANK YOU for those that thought I was deserving of an award. I really appreciate it.

Do any of you guys know why this event seemed so different?

It's finally starting to show that the UAMCC is definitely a CONTRACTOR for CONTRACTOR org!

One after another speakers who had nothing to sell, nothing to gain, shared information with other contractors.

Meanwhile the great vendors who supported the event made their equipment available for contractors to view, evaluate, and buy at discounted prices for the attendees, mostly completely separate and apart from educational sessions.

Then, the icing on the cake, for all those who want to talk on the phone and spread lies about the motives of the UAMCC...........members who are also members of the orgs WON the biggest prizes at the event!!!!!!!! It was all by chance!!!! One of them won a skid wearing the T-shirt of another org!!!!!!!! (I think it was the Jack Daniels org. lol......copyright!.....lololol)

Gentlemen, the UAMCC is an org for CONTRACTORS. It doesn't matter what other org you belong to. It doesn't matter what part of the country you come from, what section of the industry you work in, whether your make $5,000 a year or $50 million a year as long as you have serious goals of bettering yourself and bettering the industry as a whole,

If you are an honest contractor, willing to learn from other experienced contractors, and understand the benefits of networking with other honest contractors whether they are in your area or 3000 miles away, the UAMCC is the org for you.

I hope everyone can understand that CONTRACTORS can run an org and VENDORS can HELP contractors and give them options without taking the org into a direction that is detrimental to contractors.

If you have honest vendors in place they are more than willing to stand on the merits of their goods rather than resorting to unethical ways of selling their products!!

The vendors who have supported the UAMCC are the CREAM OF THE CROP! They work on an even playing field. They have put their faith in our org and I hope every contractor in the industry takes note that they were willing to attend a CONTRACTOR event that they didn't control, they didn't dominate and they didn't own.

Support these vendors! They put their trust in us as contractors! They are associate members without voting rights in the org. They are such high quality that they are willing to sell on nothing more than the quality of their products.

I hope this event can be the final nail in the coffin for those who want to make behind the scenes phone calls demeaning the org and the contractors who support it.

I have never been so proud to be a member of the UAMCC!

One of the things that I like best from this event is that you got to listen to many contractors that are successful, share their way to success, share their info so you can call them, show you how you can do the same thing, speak to you without hidden agendas, they are there to give back to the industry and help and give advice to those that are wanting to grow their business and are regular people with great attitudes and great personalities that you can feel comfortable approaching to talk to.

Just out of curiosity, am I the only person that noticed that the flyer has Arizona, Washington and California in the east and New Jersey and Kentucky in the west?

No!, I noticed before they were printed. Dammit! I sent them the corrected versions and called them to make sure they knew about it!

Oh, wait ... are you referring to the graphic above or the actual handout?

What an awesome Event...the highlight for me, definitely, was watching Larry Hinckely walk up to receive the Dave Olson award. I agree that no one deserved it more than Larry. What an awesome gentleman that has helped more people in this industry than anyone I can think of. It was also perfect that Scott Stone presented the award.

Tony Shelton...hit it out of the park again on his environmental presentation. Tony is truly changing the industry for the better and I am proud and honored to know him.

Scott Stone...thank you for being and keeping it real. Thanks for speaking to all of us, new and experienced business owners, in a way we can all relate to, and for encouraging us that we can all achieve great things with hard work and persistence.

Nichole....great job as usual girl. Everything seem to flow flawlessly. Hope your getting some much needed rest.

LeiLani....it was great meeting you finally, after so many texts, emails, calls, etc. You tireless energy and vision for the UAMMC tire me and inspire me at the same time. So glad you are part of the team and look forward to working with you in the years to come.

Ron Musgraves- WHEW....How you do what you do, with all you have to do, I will never know, but I thank God you are leading this organization. As I told the crowd on Wednesday Night, there is no way we would be where we are without you and there is know way we are where we are in 2 years without you. You are a man of the highest moral principles and integrity, and I look forward to two more years as your VP.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, UAMCC ROCKS....and now we're ROCKIN AND ROLLIN.
