Hola.

Finally.. Ordered the biggin.. And once again, the Power Wash Store comes through big time.

Just wanted to know if you guys had any tips for mounting, water supply, etc..

Keep in mind I have the 325 gallon tank for supply that is plumbed with 1&1/2 inch from the bulk head, with a 1" inline filter, and then 1&1/2 inch again that will go to a 1" braided poly into the pump? Should I dual feed it? There is a travel distance of about 6 or 7feet maybe? Will the belt drive pull ok?

Lastly, will I be able to tie in the shurflo deep cycle with the battery for the machine so it will charge?

Anything else, please let me know!

I would dual feed the pump David. Also instead of using poly braided hose I would spa flex hose for the simple reason it won't collapse. I don't think you should have any problems running it 6 or 7 feet from the tank to the pressure washer. Everything else looks great to me.

Maybe two separate lines from tank to pump. If you have the 1" filter that's kind of necking down the flow even if it goes back to 1 1/2". Or a bigger filter. Or, it's probably ok as is. I don't want a filter on the inlet line, it's a restriction and potentially a significant restriction. I prefer to filter into the tank.

I did the Dual feed with a T and 1" poly braid at the pump. It works well and the pump is happy. I have a Y filter before my float valve on the buffer tank as well as a foot before the pump to ensure I have clean water going into the pump. Here's a video of my van set up. http://youtu.be/exCHigqWUBU

Thanks guys. I'm going to have to take a look and see how I want to do this. I hate to put in a second bulkhead. I considered the filter being inlet only, but planned on having one in and out to be safe. Maybe I'll do a test of just how many gpm's I get with wide open flow if that makes sense.

You don't need 2 bulkheads, you can use a 2" bulkhead and run a 2" hose to the pump then get a 2" "T" and reduce it down to 1" and run those 2 lines to the pump.

You need to make sure you can get to the other side of the pump inlet, a lot of times the belt guard is in the way. You can take it off and gut off part to get to the inlet but that is a lot of cutting and grinding.

I only have a 1" line to my 8gpm machine and it has been running great for at least 7 years or longer.

Interesting. Ok, like I said I'm going to look over everything. Christopher, do you have a filter on the discharge side?. Thank you

I only filter on the inlet side, no reason to filter water after the pump.

On the line from the tank to the pump is a big blue bowl filter.

Good post Chris thats what i have is a t on mine going to each side of the pump.Jerry had a nice picture of the setup on here somewhere with the t an dual lines.
