I like the idea, but not sure I need anything that cost that much right now!!
 
I like the promotion, but might be a bit out of my reach for a single purchase. Who knows, if enough people might say a little prayer for me I could make a big purchase like that.... One thing I like about Sunbrite is they are consistent. I buy the same stuff every year and they always have it.

Hey, guys, many of you are going to be able to get in on this thing. If you need a vacuum surface cleaner, this might be the right time. If you want a new Soft Wash rig, this could be the right time. Thinking about a new pressure washer or vacuum? We'd love to write that up.

Think about buying products in bulk that you can use up reasonably quickly when the weather comes (to hit the $2000 level). 18 Pails of Ready Seal, 8 Pails of Seal N Lock, 12,000 1/4" O-rings:smilewinkgrin: etc. You get the idea. You are going to use that much product anyway, so think about how smart it is to buy it in bigger chunks. I always bought Ready Seal in 30-pail quantities when I was contracting because I got the best price and free freight.

I looked at a lot of services that would do great things for a contractor and this package looked like the most complete package. Because of the high costs involved, we had to set the threshold a little higher than we normally would. If there was a way in my world to give 10 of these packages away, I'd do it. I know that the better you guys do, the better I do. Many of us are in the same boat financially, but you know you have to have supplies and equipment. If you can make it add up to $2k in a big purchase, you get a shot at the package.

I have no idea what the odds might be, but I would guess that I will be drawing from as few as 20-50 names when we pull the ticket. Even if there ends up being 100 names in the box, dems pretty good odds.

I have received so many compliments on this program that we'll probably run it again for 2013.

Sounds like a great package, too bad the cost to get in is so high. Maybe next year.

Great package deal Pete, might I suggest running it for the new year at the end of the previous year, .......

this is when a lot more smaller customers spend "big cash", at least if they dont win they still have a consolation prize,… end of year tax write off.

Go ahead Guy, get a skid or two and win the package, it will pay for itself in no time.

It is only a little bit of money in the big picture, you should have no problem making that back quickly.

Let us know how quick you make that investment back.
 
We never really drew a line, except that we want to use the promotion to move equipment and encourage bulk buying. We always said ANY pressure washer. We are now counting trailer rigs and soft-wash equipment in the promotion (because those items are large purchases, whether they cross the $2000 threshold or not).

The only reason for saying "$2000" is for those who place a stocking order for smaller parts and other items. For example, lots of folks stock up on Ready Seal at the start of their season to get the bulk pricing on it, and we will even count those orders towards this drawing as long as the total of an invoice is at least $2000.

OK, everybody, I let this sit quiet for a long time. We have two weeks to go on this package, and we have fewer than 90 qualifying entries so far. :dance:

I know its crazy to do things like this, but I love this kind of stuff. Giving away big prizes is a hoot, but you need to make big sales to make it all work. The way this is going, I might do it again next year. I will think about all the great suggestions made here if I do. Let me know if this is something you would like us to do, or if there are other prizes that you might appreciate more. I like things that help my customers grow their business best.

No more skid units though. I gave two of those away already.
