Accidents and lack of accountability are going to put us all out of business because we wont be able to even get insurance or workers comp if these types of accidents continue to occur.

Its the elephant in the room- no one likes talking about it much (Safety)- myself included

However, AC is correct as it does effect each and every one of us regarding insurance premiums- a fall in Oregon effects Workman's Comp rates nationwide

I really believe we need to have a set of standard(s) that we employ-much like OSHA does

You see lots of large industrial manufacturing plants post in their workplaces "300 days without an accident (or injury) or last workplace accident May7" Its because they have standards and protocols

We seem to wing it at times and dont focus enough on safety as an industry
