I have a better question. Ron and I were not invited to this event. Both of the Jim's know I have environmental equipment, because they have both seen it. Didn't that seem a little odd to you? Particularly the way it was built up?
That does seem odd Scott, especially because they know you, Jim has seen your recovery system in person, they know you work in that state, they know you use your recovery system a lot, they know you are interested in recovery systems and they know that you had a position in the org in an environmental aspect so there is no doubt that you would not be interested in attending an org-sponsored event to show off new environmental equipment, especially when the event is held close to where you work.
I don't believe that the pwna event would not include you and Ron and the other contractors from Arizona, their attendence would have been higher, they could have got more input, more opinions, maybe some suggestions to make things better or what the contractors would prefer, etc....
I wonder why the pwna did not tell their members about this event?
It would seem that people would travel to see the new environmental equipment, I know I probably would have traveled if I had enough notice as I attend events around the country just about every year to learn more, see new environmental equipment and keep in touch with pressure washing friends.
If I had known about this event at least a few weeks beforehand, I probably would have attended so I could learn more, especially when the pwna is hosting this event and meeting with the city officials, it is always a good thing to see what is being said to city officials so we are all on the same page. What is that word being thrown around the past couple of years?..........................Transparency. I am sure the pwna wants to keep everything transparent but what happened with this pwna event? I don't see a lot of transparency here. I see ulterior motives. I see the pwna members meeting with city officials without making it known beforehand to the pwna membership, probably not even the rest of the bod.
Whenever an org's members are meeting with city officials, I am sure that the rest of the bod should be informed and probably a message out to the members to let them know what is going on and to see if members would like to be there in support of the org like what has been done in the past, why was this time different?
