Environmental Pressure Washing Event Phoenix Arizona 2012

Nigel, you are a great guy. Our whole family respects you and hopes you will come back out here to visit sometime. Your videos are outstanding and it's because of one of your videos that my rigs are set up with double units to tie together when needed now.

I knew about this event shortly after it happened. I understand that it was a private event. That would all be fine and dandy if it was a bunch of contractors getting together to discuss new equipment or methods or just to shoot the bull. But whether you were privy to it or not there is a reason that two of the three PW@A environmental directors were present. I was unaware of this reason till I read this post by Jim Gamble:

They laws are going to get enforced in Phoenix. Something that they have not done for awhile. Business as usual will be a thing of the past. These changes may include your bus stop contract. The permit you have to discharge into the storm drain will be voided, if and when this goes through.

That post changes the entire event from a private event to a private conspiracy to drive out local contractors in an attempt to raise prices through coercion of officials.

It is a despicable way to do business. This isn't just "politics" Nigel, this is an immoral attempt to harm contractors who are doing nothing wrong and drive them out of business.

If you were unaware of what Jim was doing in Phoenix behind your back, maybe it's time for you to re-evaluate your trust.

Looks to me like the "2 Jims" & the P$NA are trying to send a message to some Phoenix washers. Funny, I didn't see that many Contractors in the video. Wonder how many were there? Wonder what was said in the EPA meetings? Scott, do you believe in coincidence? Wonder why you weren't invited? Thought I saw that John Allison was there, but now that's gone too. I'd like to say this surprises me but it doesn't.

Nigel, this wasn't about playing with cool stuff, this was about pushing "Agendas" for certain Contractors. You either agree or disagree with those agendas. You're fully aware of whats been going on here.

According to Jim Cooney's quote this involved more than just Phoenix. "California, Nevada, and other Southern States EPA officials will be in on the next seminar at the end of the year" I personally don't believe they actually met with anyone from EPA. I am quite sure they would have posted pic's of that. But I also wouldn't put it past them.
 
I know enough about their operations, and far more then they would want me to know, to make sure I am not associated with them in any way. Kind of reminds me of the wizard of Oz, "do not pay attention to the man behind the curtain."
 
They are bulldozing their agenda right through. (They, being the PW#A, Jim and Robert Hinderliter)

First they tried to pretend that they were looking for some kind of consensus within the industry when the posted the BMP's. When the industry let them know that we were not going to go along with that, they showed their true side when they pushed them through without the blessings of the industry.

We contractors need to show up wherever they raise their ugly heads of disinformation and make sure we reveal just how self serving and slanted their arguments for more regulations are. I have already started here in Las Vegas. The Mayor is a neighbor and a former customer of ours who has kept up with us over the years is high up in the sewage treatment plant. Between them and some of Shelly's former customers in the Casino industry and the city, county and state I think we can prepare them so that they look like morons when they start spewing their garbage.

We all need to take care of our own back yards and keep these heel nippers of the government at bay.

It may be being billed as more, and there is more in the way of agendas, but this particular 'event' was about playing with cool stuff. I believe Nigel could talk shop and technicalities non-stop! It was George Podell that came down, not Allison. There were not EPA meetings at that time.

The way I read this is that they did meet with EPA officials, however I highly doubt thy did.
