Radio controlled gun?

I have never heard it, Not to be ignorant, but how does that work, don't you have to hold on to the gun anyway, I don't see the advantage in that.

Or am I missing something here?

They are radio controlled, Have 3 selectors Plus an on/off button.
This gun has a range of 300+ feet
Can run 2 step and a wax and never go to low pressure
Can also turn the burner on and off with this gun
When you are not using it push the off button and the pump stops and the engine keeps on running
One more nice thing is that you can remove the gun and turn it back on ,so you can use your hose as a garden hose .You also can switch to a telescoping wand.
this setup is for up stream chemical injection

Oh ok I misunderstood, you are referring to the remote control for your pressure washer as a gun. I have heard of that and no I don't use one.

Hi Terry

What type of control unit do you use, Pulse con? mechatronics etc?....and what are the costs in setting a system like yours up.I have an idea and I'm just starting to research it now.I like the idea of not walking back and forth to the trailer, especially when it's 300 feet or more, or from a roof.

Any distributors or manufacturers out there I don't want to upstream and I need something that can turn my 3500 psi ball valve on DC current.

Any and all replies welcome

This is a radio remote control gun,it can be used with any washer upstream or down stream.
Safety- OSHA has fined and shut down operators with open guns.
Allows brief hand switching or grip release, but safely shuts down if let go for more than 3 seconds.
The machine never operates in bypass mode.
Reduces pressure spikes and shock waves to washer and components.
Eliminates dual hoses

This gun or system is made by PRO-TECH

Do I understand this correctly, let go of the trigger and gun stops allowing water out, pull trigger and water comes out?

If so why would you need the radio control since that is how they work to start with.

What am I missing here? I run my unloader in by-pass all the time so when I turn off the ball valve or release the trigger water goes back into my tank.

Now for $1,500 plus I would by a Water Jet first.

Something just does not sound right about a remote control unit to run your gun with.

Next they will invent a remote wand so all you have to do is sit down and play with the gadgets and the wand points where you want it to.

Am I reading this whole thing wrong?

Now I have heard of remote control for starting and stopping the motor and I believe it also can control the upstream, if so I can buy one of those for less then $1000.

Cue me in here please, or just tell me I need to re-read everything said above.

I have the megatronic's remote >> would just the gun work fer me >> ?
IT would be kinda neat not to drag the ole remote outa my pocket >..

JOn Jon JOn <
I wouldnt be without my remote .

advantages to me are >>
1) turn off on clutch
2) turn off on soap
3) turn off on burner
4) turn off on wife ( opps )
5) no more walking back& forth
6) turn off on wife ( not again )

If they make that lance where you can just sit on a chair and point i'll be in line fer that one >> lol.<<<<

I often thought of putting my remote on my gun that way i didnt have to yank it outa my pants all the time . But if ya can buy one and is programable to my remote I shall get it .

dan put it on one of those retractable key chain's. When i get bigger fleet washing accounts, im getting me a push button system.
TERRY you say its good for 2 stepping but never have to go to low pressure?
Can it be used with a duel lance so i can use low pressure? I dont want HF acid going in my pump.
Do you still use a unloader?
how about a picture of your set-up?

You need to read it again.
I don't sell this system, but we use it every day.
We 2 step 53' trailers in 7 min. per trailer @100 trailers a day.
Try doing that with a unloader system.
go to www.hcsclean.com
push on pro-gun
But if someone comes up with a new idea and it works, I'll spend some $$$$ on it .I know I would like to spend more time with my kids oh and my wife lol.

Terry never said you sale them, that much I understood well, trying to understand how it works with a gun vs. just pulling and releasing the trigger.

I am aware of remotes for the motor, have thought of buying one but cannot justify the cost vs. the use of it.

Dan S. YOU BAD MAN:)

Turn off wife, best not let her see your post or she might have one implanted in you if you ever have surgery.

Jon
Didn’t mean anything by me not selling this system.
With a unloader you can not change much at the end of the hose, because you need to turn off the motor/pump.
With this gun you can change to anything at the end of the hose or use it as a garden hose because you are turning the pump off.You can change to a telescoping wand an then change to a surface cleaner with out ever going back to your rig.
The $$$$ we save in time ,sold us on this system.
Terry

Terry, seems like I can do most of those things already by closing and opening a ball valve I keep just before my trigger gun?
