Is there a button that can be added so folks who clearly cannot control their mouse enough to stay away from PWI can delete themselves.

I am so sick and tired of these babies who cry "delete my account"..... MODERATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS are not on here to make changes to your account or delete them when you don't like things. As soon as that happens, someone will want to come back and here we have even more work to do and for what? :banghead:

IF YOU DON'T LIKE COMING HERE ------ DON'T. Your computer does not come here on its own. Control yourself.

Celeste, could you delete my account between the hours of 6 and 6 EST. Please make sure you have me re-activated no later than 6:01 as I may have something to say, or quite possibly, some woman to pick on. And please hurry up about it as I don't have a lot of patience with people who volunteer their time.
 
Can I get my account deleted??? Then it could really get interesting..

The whole coming here of your own free will and the changing your mind is like telling your spouse you didn't mean to have an affair,but your clothes just fell off and before you knew it you were maked in someone else's bed.
The mouse didn't select the link to PWI of your favorties list on it's own.

When Ron called me yesterday he told me that wouldn't be a problem, somehow this still hasn't happened.

I see the offending post which you had no problem with and in fact defended has disappeared, but you obviously don't want to let it go.

I think both of you cry babies should disappear. It would make for a better site!!!!
 
Why do CERTAIN MEMBERS want to fight on here with people they dont even know other than what they post on here? I can only imagine what your customer service is like. This is ridiculous. I'm not talking about the vendors.
 
I don't understand John, you want your account deleted since obviously you don't want to come here but you keep coming back here.

Wouldn't it be easy to just stop coming back? Just wondering.

If someone asks a question on here about downstreaming for example you get 2 posts about downstreaming and 40 posts about how stupid someone is. Lets be professional guys. Were all over 18 years old and adults. Act your age not your shoe size.

Come on John, you and I have always gotten along, step back and give it a few days and see how you feel then.

I dont delete accounts because it messes with the post you have been involved in and they wont read right. If you cant stop yourself from coming here I can ban you at your request but it wont remove you from the data base or the mirror images on the net.

Its up to you.
 
We should just put that delete button on the left next to the green dots. Just to see how many times youve cried wolf. hahaha
and some of you guys need to relax.
 
I love these bulletin boards and always have been a big fan of them. I defend them whenever I feel I have to. When I go to RT's and Conventions in this industry most people I know I met them thru these bb's. The reason why I defend these bb's even though they have some tremendous down sides to them along with the Obvious Tremendous upsides is that this is the way of the future and the bb's have let so many people connect in this industry.

Now the problem here is they are also so very addictive because your interacting with people that at most times have a common interest. Its like getting high with each other(OK I did not mean that in a serious sense just making a point) and the problem with that????? Its ADDICTIVE!!!!!!!

I agree with what Russ said above. Don't delete people but just ban them at there request maybe at 6 month intervals or better yet ban them untill they ask to come back and mean it. That way you help them handle there own addiction about coming to a bb like PWI. You help them to help themselves.

Sounds crazy but for some they may understand this.
 
That might be the best idea Russ, it will let them cool down and think things through, chances are they want to come back as this site really is a great resource and good place to make new friends.
