Who Uses Ceramic Nozzles in a SC?
Im trying to find a better nozzle, I am using GP. but they arent lasting any longer. I was wanting to know if you guys have tried ceramic nozzles in your SC? one more question if you hit lil pebbles with the SC do the tips wear out faster or mabey chip? thanks for the help guys. Right now the GP's are lasting me about 10-25hrs cant get it right. it will start to leave stripes real bad, but as soon as i change them it cleans fast and good again.:banghead:

Joe I met the guy who invented the cermanic insert nozzles a couple of years ago at an Ag Expo.He gave me a have dozen in different sizes 2 of which I used in my surface cleaner. They lasted about 8 months an unusually long time since we do mainly commercial concrete.
The exposed ceramic part is very small and will stand up to rock and other trash under the deck.I haven't ordered any since I a creature of habot and like the tips I use all the time.

I was wondering about the ceramic nozzles also, thanks for the info.

Anyone else use them?

Here is a nozzle wear chart guys, not sure how long the link would be good.

what brand of filter to you recomend?
Do those filters clog easy?
I was wondering if they would break it debris ran through them.

I used a few brands of inline filters on my surface cleaner and the all clogged too often. If there was an oversize model I would like to try it.

Nozzle filter: with 100 mesh screens

I don't know of a larger filter, but When you choose from what is out there..
Make sure you get 100 mesh screens not the standard 50 mesh screens..
cleaning the filter once a week is better than loosing an expensive nozzle, or any downtime ! :winknudge:

Good job guys, on the technical input !!
opinions don't fit here without the details. Eh?

Ceramic inserts are great but the carbide ones last even longer. They cost a bit more. Those of us whom carry Spraying Systems can get them. (I hope that I am not out of turn here in mentioning this!)

For surface cleaning and for truck washing were that very flat pattern is a must try the 1/8 meg nozzles with the veins in them they have a much flatter pattern than any nozzle i have ever used and i have used the ceramic nozzles as well.To me they seem to open up alot sooner than the ones i spoke of.Ceramic nozzles are not new to the industry they just have been reintroduced.
