Well for those of you that want to know how long it is taking to catch the attention of the US AHJ's,we have two more Inspector's seminars planned the first week in December. This will be about the 6-8 this year. Recently I've been getting calls from vendors in the Macon GA region saying they are bidding Robbins AFB and they have to be certifide to bid the work and will be attending our school. After three short years of providing education to AHJ's all over North America, I can definitely see that the major players, Insurance Companies, Municipalites, Military, Casino's, YUM Brands and others are deifinitely starting to draw a line in the sand and with another 2-3 years alot will change. I feel that this want and need the AHJ's have is great for the average kitchen exhaust company becuase now quality education/certification is available and quality companies are readily available to the consumers. This thought process, from the major chains, was something that was not present 10 years ago and was one of the factors that helped evolve the "National Contracting Companies", (Facilitec, Commercial, SLM etc). The corpaorate view of the regualr hood cleaner is changing, it is up to the independent suppliers to get educated and proactive!
Have A Clean Day!
