Building A New Flatbed Rig

I got some cutting done today. I cut all the pieces long and I'm going to take them to a friend of mines machine shop and use his hydraulic feed band saw to make perfect cuts. I hope to get some welding done in the next two weeks, She's slowly coming together.
Nice job Tim!

Did you get the 5528's? I looked at those awhile back and should have got a bunch of those. I still might, they would really dress up my truck. I wish they had 3/4" waterways, my 1/2" swivels eat up a little flow. Stainless/aluminum is the only way to go, what am I thinking. Where did you get yours?

Just call Mark at Titan Tim.
You CAN get bigger innards!

People are now used to the Titans.
But, I used to get stopped by local pressure washers and roof cleaners asking me where I got those neat reels.

Mallard Systems have THE most beautiful reels I have ever seen!
Unfortunately, they ain't talking about where they get em.

305$, Where? I saw on that site that the 5028-6 can be purchased with 1" waterways. It holds (says it holds) 375' 0f 5/8" that is perfect for my needs. If I get one, I have to get 4-5 more so they will all match, even though I only run bleach in one. Here I go again!

My Isuzu just got new Alternator/Glow Plugs Tim, and brakes adjusted and bled.
Needs windshield now ......

I made all final cuts on aluminum yesterday, I am looking at next weekend for welding it into a multi-functional ladder rack. Hopefully, I can post some pictures of the welding process the following week. Once I get the ladder rack bolted to the headache rack and floor I can start figuring out where everything (equipment) will be mounted. I can then start on plumbing, wiring, and fuel supplies.

I got some welding done yesterday on the ladder rack, I still have 2-3 hours to go on it.

Looks real Nice so far.. We went and looked at Ryder Box Trucks and we are thinking about getting a used one at the auction and putting a concrete cleaning set up inside and then just using the Whitco for nothing but hood cleanings.

Good idea.

Here is the front section of the rack, the holes you see 8" down from the top I predrilled for plumbing, wiring, etc.. This is the first phase of the rack, it will have many uses other than just holding ladders.

Is that soapy the softwash mascot?Aren't firefighters supposed to have dalmations.

Actually, that's Murphy and he is tired of listening to me talk about softwashing. Dustin you might be on to something, but I like the name "suds" better.

Did you make the bed on the little truck ? I was thinking about doing that with my Ford F-150. It has heavy Duty Springs and shocks on it. It is a long wheel base and I thought about extending the bed out to make a total of 10ft. I could put the machine on it widthways and then a water tank and 2 hose reels in the back. My Ford sits a little high in the back so I will have to reach a little bit but I could fit my truck into hard to get places. Got any ideas?
By the way I like your new rig it's sweet.

Draw it out a few times, USE 1/4" ALUMINUM. If you have an extra truck it is the only way to go. I custom built the ranger bed also, I would like to someday build these for other people. The ranger bed is 6x6 and we manage to get a lot of equipment on it, a 10' bed will be a great size. Heavy duty springs and load shocks are a must. The Isuzu won't fit into the places the ranger will, but I am loading it up with long hose lines. Build that F-150, you will love it. 1/4" ALUMINUM!
