Tim, nice truck. What kind of fuel mileage do you get? 12 mpg with my 2000 with the 4 cylinder turbo charged engine.[/QU

12 IS ALSO WHAT I AVERAGE "IN TOWN".

thats what i want to do next is move everything on to a truck like that but thats a project for the first of the year

I can't believe that I posted this in September/October and I just now ordered the aluminum. I thought I would have it finished in a month. Wow, time sure does fly when you work two jobs and have a wife & 3 boys. Hopefully I can post some pictures of us building it soon. We ordered 96' of 3"x3"x1/4" and 48' of 1-1/2"x3"x1/8" today to get started. I have got some things done on it, but I just don't have the time I need to get it done.

I have two flatbed rigs-each truck has a small power lift crane that come in very handy-cost is around $2500 but well worth it.

My metal is being delivered this comming week, so I am making final measurements and laying everything out to make sure it is how I want it before I start cutting it to length. Talk about some head scrathing! All of these reels on the bed will be mounted up off the bed. Everything will be incorporated into the ladder rack. The ladder rack will secure the tanks, be a mount for the hose reels, and safely tote my ladders. I am also designing racks on the port side to carry our surface cleaners and a small ladder (common single story work). This being built to meet our specific needs, so it will work well for what and how we clean structures & surfaces.

The truck looks nice. I've got to do some searching on the roof cleaning threads. Looks like something worth getting into if you have the know how and are set up right.

I got some cutting done today. I cut all the pieces long and I'm going to take them to a friend of mines machine shop and use his hydraulic feed band saw to make perfect cuts. I hope to get some welding done in the next two weeks, She's slowly coming together.
