27 degrees shut us down. The lift won't work in those temps. Its not work buying an oil heater for temps this rare.

According to the weather bureau, in any given year the chance of Portland having a white Christmas is about 1%, or one in a hundred. I think that's about right because I can recall one and I'm 103 years old. Right now it's 27 F and snowing lightly.
On Thursday it'll have been three weeks since we've been able to work and that's when they predict an end to this Global Colding. If they're right, we'll be back at it.

We will be down 3 tomorrow night. I put a bottled water on my trailer, but it hasn't froze yet and we have been in the lower teens. So far so good.

Well completely frozen here in Ca. I had water in the tank.
I guess I need to winterized also. Would just draining all the water be better? Worried about the pump now.

Remember Chris, we're in California. Winterizing is something the east coast guys do. I shut down at 11:30 last night when the temps dropped to 34. I'm going to try and work all night tonight though, I'm running a little behind schedule.

I believe it dropped to about 25 last night. All my lines were frozen solid. I tried to drain my tank at noon and it was coming out like a slushie. Or a blended margarita.

Last two weeks were cold and then last Wednesday started warming up and rain stared Friday night and ended Saturday night. 6.75 inches fell here in less than 24 hrs and tonight temps are back into the 30's and down to 10 degrees tomorrow night. We'll have to shut down again and that just sucks!

Its been record highs here all week.. 81 today...... BTW Rance..... If that 7 inches last for more than 4 hours, you should contact your physician immediately!
