Maybe they should poll the members on this since it about standards of the industry.

Have the members received any emails on drafts for there imput?

This is the kind of stuff that is going to destroy the pressure washing business of hundreds of contractors. I guess Houston wasn't enough.

I for one would like to see what is going to be proposed?

If this is going to represent us as a whole we should have a say so on what is being said and done on our behalf.

My question is BMP's for who? PWNA?? And once voted on, who is it for????? Is this something they will recommend to various municipalities?????????

What do you mean vote? If the vote is YAY, what does that mean?? Who is voting and for the entire industry who you have said you represent
I would like to see this before you BRING it to any municipalities

PLEASE show this BMP to the industry, on the business boards, through emails etc.

I have a workable unwritten BMP in my area and it calls for a lot less thn FortWorth and other areas, please do not over step your bounds it could back fire if you don't bring this to the industry

Frankly, its not the time for any of this right now. We need to get Houston under control, this problem is bad.

I also agree, I would like to know more about this before something is voted on, representing the industry and possibly helping to implement changes that could not possibly be in the best interests of ALL the contractors out there.

There are inexpensive ways to be compliant as Robert H. has shown on many occasions as well as systems that can easily cost as much as a nice new car or even new house.

There are issues with power to sway votes as you can see how some of us are reacting because this will affect our livelihood, how we pay our bills, feed our families, etc... sometimes with power comes "swayed votes" to one cause or another or even possibly siding with particular vendors.

I am sure that the PWNA wants to help out the contractor but this still needs to be well thought out, talked about, get input from contractors all around the country and then voted on and presented to the AHJ in the areas otherwise it is just a very small group trying to make changes that will affect contractors in the whole USA that may or may not be in the best interest for the contractors and without the contractors input it hardly seems fair for an organization to try to represent contractors without listening to them first before having a "vote".
