big guy bar

I had the same thing happen last week Jonathan. I had the hole on the bar re-threaded and it is working fine. Be sure to use locktight on the threads of the new spray tips. Teflon Tape doesn't seem to work to good especially after the holes are re-thraded. You can only do that so many times though. After that ya gonna need a new bar. Mine have been done 2x now. Hope this helps! :)

I have three needed to be fixed. I'll try that. Thanks for this "tip"

Just ordered a big guy. Looking forward to seeing how well it works. I also noticed that there are bars that come with 4 tips. Do they clean any better than the 2 nozzle units.

Remember that each nozzle divides the gpm flow but not the pressure.

Most of us use the 2nozzle spray bars on the surface cleaners.

If you had 10gpm or more then it might be a good idea to go with more nozzles on the spray bars.

you should reach 1800-2000rpm

You guys love your "Big Guys". I was very tempted to buy one after my BE failures, but I went with mosmatic this week.

There is also the Steel Eagle with the Deublin swivel, that swivel is the best one out there but the Steel Eagle is a lot heavier than the Big Guy. My 24" Steel Eagle weighs more than the Big Guy so the 30" will be even more heavier. It is all about personal preference. I do like how some brands have their spray bars welded together at the right angles.

Well, Thanks to Rex and Lori at their shop in Florida, we got 2 of the big guy spray bars and 1 classic bar fixed so I will be using them on the next flatwork jobs I get.

Thanks Rex and Lori at PWProducts.
