Beware of getting banned other Places

Art Maybe we should Chose other words as well, great point. We didnt start the site to hurt people. See how talking about things can improve us all.

Maybe Gary can see that and RCIA can change that Too

Well that's the rub, isn't it. You have to work at getting banned on most boards. Sometimes you have to work pretty hard, ignore warnings, and generally act like an ass before the banning takes place.

Its not hard to follow rules. but if you have to act like an ass, don't do it on boards that enforce their rules.

I like coming here for the free flow of opinions, education and sometimes general stupidity that goes on here which, quite frankly is fun and am glad the admins put up with it.

That is total ***** ***** Ron. Remember, I was banned from PWI once, and ALL 3000 of my Signature Links were INTENTIONALLY REMOVED BY PWI, in a deliberate attempt to hurt my SEO, and effect my livelyhood!

Back when I was teaching and posting every day here at PWI, the page rank of this Forum was up to Page Rank 3. When PWI took all my links, IT'S Page rank dropped like a leaf in a windstorm!
Finally, after a few MONTHS, the links were put back up, but by then, it was too late, for PWI, and for me. Google does not look kindly on Forums that play games with links, especially 3000 + links from an authority site like mine (page rank 3 and above), with 3000 posts! PWI has still never recovered from that mean spirited action, and to be honest, neither have my feelings.

I usually keep my feelings about what PWI tried to do to me to myself, I try to forgive and forget. But, when you get an unhappy person from my forum on here, and then try to make PWI look so good and "perfect", that **** aint gonna fly. I have never forgotten what PWI tried to do to me, and neither have many others who were around back then. They thought it was terrible (and still do), what PWI did to me, after all I gave to this forum.

When I left PWI to start the RCIA, I vowed never again to allow any person from any forum to ever be in a position to do that to me, again.

How about you Man up Ron, and admit what you once did to me, instead of trying to make your Forum look so "Lily White".

Art, unfortunately, I can not run my business AND the RCIA Forum, by myself. I told you I wanted you back on the forum (I did not ban you) and that I liked and missed having you around (I do).
The RCIA, unlike this forum, is a paid forum. Unlike PWI, that is really just a piece of 200.00 software being run on Rons personal website, we have serious Forum Bills at the RCIA. Our bills run us from 100 to 200 dollars a Month. PWI is a piece of software called VBulletin, once you pay your 200 dollars, you OWN it! All that is left are the bills for web hosting. Web Hosting can be as little as 5 dollar a month. Plus, PWI is the vehicle that gets people into Rons NCE Roundtables, and he makes money off of that. NOT that profit is a dirty word either. I merely point that out because Ron just loves to go on and on about how PWI is "free". Make no mistake, he makes Money off the NCE Roundtables, and PWI, though it is "free", drives people in the door of NCE Roundtables.

At RCIA, we attempt to cover our Forum Costs by selling memberships.

Now, people pay a membership fee at RCIA of a very reasonable 100 dollars a year. In return, they get access to the best roof cleaning information on the Internet, no charge unlimited access to me for one on one SEO and roof cleaning help, as well as the privliege of having active signature links there, as well as the ability to make unlimited promotional posts, on the number one ranked roof cleaning forum in the world.

Please understand that even IF you were just "fooling around" when you kept making ACTIVE signature links at the RCIA, despite being told not to by Gary and NOT being a paying member, you gave him little choice BUT to act. Imagine, what could have happened if Gary had allowed you to continue ? Members could have said "Screw this, why should I have to pay for links, when Art is not a member, and he has links that are active ?

Usually, I do not concern myself with the day to day operations of the RCIA Forum. I was aware you had been banned by Gary, but was NEVER aware it said Banned User. I have seen you over here, and said I missed you, and would like to see Gary and you work it out. Not ONCE did you ever tell me your profile had been changed to say Banned User, or I would have acted right away.

Remember, unless you are actively posting on the RCIA Forum, I never see your profile.
And, since I am calling Ron Musgraves and PWI out here for the **** they once did to me (deliberately taking all of my 3000 backlinks away by Intentionally removing my forum signature after they banned me) I accept full responsibility for what happened to you at RCIA.
Of course, I did not do it to you Art, but the RCIA is my forum, and a fish stinks, from the head down. I will not hide behind my moderators, like some choose to do. I accept full responsibility, and want to make a public apology to you, for what was done.

Chris we learned banning you, even a convicted child molester still has his links here.

Also so you know that staff reinstated your links.

Yes Chris damage was done and from that day fourth we have closely looked each and every time.

The child molester has his links because it was pointed out that he is in prison, why should his left behind children or wife be punished for his mistakes.

Chris we do always try to do the best things, collectively this staff runs it the best it can.

By the way when you suggest this forum is bad your saying everyone here is, unlike any other your allowed to criticize all you want. Just know that when you do there's a lot of good people your trashing.

All NCE events have been free. Contractor associated not free unless they wanted them free.

Any and all sanctioned Nce was free with one or two day format. Period

Well, it is good to see that you admit that damage was attempted to be done to me, by intentionally removing my signature from 3000 of my posts, and tried to hurt my business by the sabotage of my SEO Ron. That was a very long time ago, In fact, I had almost forgotten about it.... Almost.

I have no beef with anyone here at PWI. In fact, though I have a Forum to do so, I have never went public with this before. I have kept this to myself all these years Ron, because it makes you and PWI look bad.

I just had a slight problem today when you painted PWI out to be so "Nice", and the RCIA as being "so mean". Making other Forums look bad, so yours can look good, just isn't a cool thing to do Man.
Thanks for manning up and admitting it Ron. It would have stayed a "dirty little secret" that only you, me, and a few others who remember what happened back then knew about, had you not publicly bad mouthed the RCIA.

None of us are perfect, including and especially me.
Like you just said, admitting our mistakes, and learning from them, is why we are all here.
My opinion of you has always been high, and it just went up considerably, now that you were Man enough to admit when you were wrong, in the past!

Profit is NOT a dirty word Gary. Though Roundtables are free, here is how Money can possibly be made, by those who put them on.
I know for a FACT that Ron and Kory work their butts off putting them on, and they flst out deserve any money they get from them, IMHO

The Hotels can give kickbacks to NCE on the room rents, in return for NCE filling up their rooms. Vendors are charged for exhibition space, and the Roundtable Organizers get a piece of the action for every speaker who charges money to hear them talk.
From the registration, a monster mailing and email list is generated of active pressure washing contractors. This list can be easily sold to many interested parties. Or, better yet, the list can be rented out for a one time mailing blitz by Vendors who think they have something to sell us cleaning contractors. These mailing lists generated at roundtables can be "seeded" with fake names and addresses, to be absolutely sure that they only get mailed ONCE. Every additional mailing, and Vendors can be charged for it.
The sale and rentals of these lists CAN generate surprising high revenues, for those clever enough to compile them.

I do NOT know "for sure" that this is how NCE makes it's money Gary. Just trying to answer your question with my best guess.
I can also tell you this. IF Ron makes any money from these NCE Roudtables, he sure as heck is not stingy with it!
Ron is "legendary" for his generosity at Roundtables. In fact, I have personally watched (and ate) when Ron Musgraves buy the ENTIRE Roundtable steak dinner. Now, I am talking Lakeland Florida NCE Gary, and we are talking maybe 50 people!
Do the math!
Ron is also well known for buying plenty of Liquor, and opening his pockets, to buy everyone drinks!

Like I said, profit is not a dirty word. If Ron makes a lot of money at these Roundtables (which I highly doubt), he deserves every dime of it.
I very much enjoy the NCE Roundtables, and so do our guys at the RCIA.

In fact, we eagerly await the next Tampa Roundtable, since we all have a blast there!

Chris this is as much your forum as Gary's , no one intentionally hurt you ever.

The staff realized your link juice was falling after doing it with no malice. When they realized because I was not directly involved it was discussed and since we have done our best under any circumstances not to effect anyone's pockets like other forums do intentionally to good people because of personality conflicts.

I have people who truly dislike the good I do for people here. As I have told you in the past ron musgraves does not decide anyone's fate here.

A collective group of your peers control this place.

Steven Button is in charge. I have lived with choices all admins have made. If I hadn't then your claims of my bbs would exist. You however will not find one of the six or any staff currently on this bbs say I have over road any final choices.

Here's why, we all here have mutual respect for each other to do the right things when push comes to shove.

Chris I only hope for you brother you can find peace with yourself. Trust the people who have never hurt you and discard those who have shamed you.

I'm a forgiving guy Chris , recently I discovered a virus here on pwi. A person that created a lot of heart ache over the years. I recently bent this hate for this person I thought a Freind. He was not and still is not. I do forgive him for all the mayhem over the years and the friendships he stuck his head in the middle of.

Here's why Chris, some people will never change. It's like this a child raised in the ghetto to sell drugs will likely go to prison. Most likely will get out and commit a crime again and again. I always hope that these type of people will change like the trouble makers of this industry. Reality is that some are just sick, it's a shame it took me years to realize. I won't waste anymore of my life trying to change others. I will just work on helping those who want it. Try to be the best example I can of what and how industry pros should act like.

We are all just people Chris, humans some of us more successful and some not. We all are here for the same reasons, raising the standards.

All leaders should start leading, division is a cowards way. I will not run or duck from anyone. I will stand up for what's rights and admit my faults when they happen. Mistakes I have made, I'm sure before I'm gone I will make others.

I can say this , proud to Say it with out doubt. Together we all have built the best resource in the industry right here on pwi. I'm also proud to say that !!!

Gary, I have been to an NCE event and have personally seen (and experienced) Ron's generosity. The level of free education at that event was staggering. The vendor support was very much appreciated and I'm sure they would tell you they benefited from supporting the event as well. I got a real education on how a top level event should be done for the benefit of all involved while keeping education as the main goal.

NCE is started and will finish as a great resource for contractors all over the country to get education. The best education in our industry.

The amount of riches is not measurable for most.
