Barry, I looked at that post and looked at my admin controls but could not find out how to see who moved it.
The other mods might know how but the past administrators probably know how to look it up.

Keep in mind, I don't track post numbers, save MHTML's and screenshots of every post I make.....I did that because It was happening and I wanted to verify for a fact.

First of all it isn't deleted, it's still there, just moved to academic probation.
I tried clicking on "edit" to see if it have ever been edited and it had not.
I tried everything I could to find who moved it and I can't.
Here's what it looks like to me. I think someone saw "snake oil" in the first line, didn't read the rest and moved it thinking it was just another hit on AC or Bill. It sat in academic probation and no one ever noticed it to comment on it or ask why it was moved. When I looked at it, most of it was over my head and I have no idea what you are talking about, however, it does appear to be relevant to the conversation and probably shouldn't have been flagged.
We have a lot of mods here. No one is perfect. I think it was simply the "snake oil" line that got it flagged inappropriately nobody ever bothered to look deeper at it till now.
Maybe somebody else will be able to tell who moved it. I just can't.

I also would like to add that to avoid the embarrassment to PWI, I offered in email to Ron....that he edit out my claim that posts get deleted and his reply denying it happened.

Barry, Ron never wants to delete or move anything. He never wants to ban anybody. You may have a problem somewhere, with somebody, but I don't think it's with Ron.
I have banned two people in my time here. Both were reversed immediately within minutes, both times because Ron threw a fit and called me yelling about the seriousness of banning people and moving posts. So I just don't bother with it anymore. I've reported posts occasionally but I don't even put things in academic probation because I don't want to face the wrath of my good friend Ron.
That's just not how he operates Barry.
Now if you want threads deleted, moved, edited, or just simply want to get banned for disagreeing, stay on the other board you are on and you will see exactly how that works as soon as you aren't enjoying the golden boy status you are now when the subject changes and you are going against the grain. lol

Behind a Mod screen is just the same as being deleted.....it's removed just the same.
I think that's a stretch given that it wasn't in a thread about roof cleaning......and just as concerning. Why would a PWI sack a post because Bill or AC was taking a hit?
Tony....that pretty much makes my point. How can we discuss the UAMCC Cert program here when Mod's remove posts that hit a BOD with something as benign as "snake oil"?

I disagree.....you are a close friend. I already explained why I was watching my posts closely....you showed me two more moved after the one on the 10th. Check my posts.....I stopped posting here for a while because it was dirty pool.
Already had one deleted there and I never typed a single word.....I quoted someone. But the reason it was deleted was because of Ron texting Beth. She said she didn't want sued.
I'm sorry Tony but I think Ron deleted my post on the 10th and I think he's been doing it for a while before that. It's a shame too because as you and I discussed on the phone, it's important to have diverse opinions and too many yes men will stifle creative ideas.
I might roll with the Cert discussions on TGS but when that dies out I think I'm done with forums for a while....
I'm guessing I don't need to apologize and admit I was mistaken.

Barry, the entire threads were flagged and it was on a thread from 2011. I don't think anything you posted on those had much of anything to do with them being pulled. You just happened to be one of the many who were posting in it.
It's up to you if you want to apologize or not. By the fact that your post was removed and retitled "Has nothing to do with thread" I really think someone just had a knee jerk reaction and nobody else has bothered to look at it. Usually when something is pulled there is moderator or admin discussion about it. But when it is retitled "spam" or something like that no one tends to notice it. But one post and two threads that were pulled that just happened to have one post each of yours in it is not "threads getting deleted all over the place at PWI".
I looked and there have only been 25 threads/posts put in academic probation/deleted threads in the past year. That's a total of one ever two weeks including some spam. I don't think one every two weeks is an epidemic. Many of them were the pissing matches between me and Michael about the police issue calling each other liars and other such stuff.
You have posted many opinionated posts. Why would someone pick that one out and pull it? Is it possible there was a lot of bashing going on about AC around that time and somebody just misread it and thought they were doing the right thing by deleting an AC bashing post out of the middle of a thread on bans? At least you didn't go back to log in and find yourself banned forever like many of us have on the inferior board.
When Ron moves a post he usually comments on why. For example there is an angry one that was moved about a vendor who had slow getting orders out. Ron noted that he moved it because the vendor currently had someone in their family hospitalized and had enough on their plate at the moment.
Further, if you look at the retitling of your post you will notice that all the words are spelled correct. That means it was either moved by me or Scott Stone. lol
Your opinion is valued here Barry. I think you are reading way too much into all this and it's made you take a slanted view and even affected your usually rock solid logic and turned it into a personal issue.

At the time that was Scott, Barry in Twelve years I moderated a total of one page and quarter. It shows on those two total Pages I deleted a Post here. My own!!! Most have been my own as a Luxury I can delete duplicates and such.

It happened exactly as you said.....except it was a UAMCC BOD that did it. I've had 2 deleted posts there and one was because of a text to Beth from a UAMCC BOD and the second, today was by Guy Blackmon a UAMCC BOD. Apparently the word "squat" violates his sensitivities. He said it was a violation of the "personal insults" rule. Never mind all the names he's called people. It seems the only people at The Grime Scene that can get away with ad hominem attacks are the Mod's.
It was just a 5 point infraction, but if "squat" is worth 5 points then I'll pick up 10 more points in a day and be banned. I'm not going to give him the pleasure. I won't bother posting there anymore until Beth removes my 5 points or comes to her senses and boots Guy Blackmon from Moderator.
I don't know if the UAMCC BOD is using Guy's position to silence people that disagree or if he's gone "lone gunman"....either way, it reflects poorly on the Org when directors are pulling posts and banning people for disagreeing.
This puts me in a conundrum....if I can't participate in the discussion on either forum, I'd have to shut up (not happening) about it or blog about the discussion. When it was in a forum, people could read and share their opinions. It was healthy in other ways since a forum's SEO isn't persistent like a website....controversial issues drop from the homepage and in doing so, they eventually drop from the serps. This is just a structural issue of forum content. Google won't crawl a whole forum....they only crawl so deep and stop. When Google cannot see content....well, it doesn't exist to them as far as Serps go. A website on the other hand is very persistent and in the case of a blog, it is very specific. Extra points for exact match domain name....
The reason I explain this is because if Guy B (or the UAMCC) doesn't like my opinion in a forum thread called "roof cleaning certification", where everyone can present their thoughts and reply to others, then he's going to hate reading them on roofcleaningcertification.org or certifiedroofcleaning.org or maybe seeing the rss feed popping up on forums and elsewhere.
I had these domains just to keep them out of the hands of someone that might use them for financial gain so this is a worthwhile use I suppose.
It would have been best to keep the discussion in the proper venue but using the power of forum moderation isn't going to stop me from having an opinion. Guy B baited me sarcastically to go ahead and waste my time....it takes the same time to type in a blog as it does in a post and I can create a hosting account and launch a blog in 5 minutes.
I can handle some things and some things I cant. One of the things I can't is when a forum moderator mocks me after sucker punching me with moderator powers on a site he doesn't even own. We'll see how he likes it when the playing field is tipped against him.
Tony....I told you exactly how I feel about Mr Blackmon. He stalked me on PTstate because of the UAMCC 3-4 years ago. He hasn't changed at all. I know you and Doug are reasonable people I don't know the other directors personally but you really need to reign in Guy Blackmon. His heavy handed approach and sarcastic responses to any questions or criticisms is not only a turnoff, it burns in a dislike for the UAMCC to the bone that simple words cannot heal. Disagreements might spur some anger but most people get over it....People never forget being belittled and insulted.

As far as your "Stalking" comment, I tried to start a productive Non-combative discussion with Michael P. and asked that responses be productive not destructive and included myself in that remark, instantly you appear and we start with "Our" discussion. I guess you thought the more you pressed the more I'd lose my cool even when you questioned my word. Guess it didn't work. Who was stalking who?

We are all men, we have to live with our actions. The UAMCC has codes of ethics and we will make sure they are being met. If they are not anyone who is not representing the industry the right way will find themselves looking in from the outside.

In spite of that I have never called you a name or threaten you with Harm like recently this has happened with other individuals.
I take this all light hearted and not as serious as I should, I do care but I also know 99% is all talk.
People like yourself will disagree, you will not like what we are doing. I can't help you or change you today. Most likely I will never change you and frankly I'm ok with that as long as you know you will not likely change me.
The title of this thread was not to call you out but was so I could accurately answer questions. I do not think that in our current Management we are all on the same page, we all realized this as Nichole came on in the full-time position. We Implemented some things into play and its getting better. No excuses these folks work free have families and full time businesses to run. Sometimes its just lack of concern and this is why i have a different vision. We will actually need more full-time paid staff in the future.
I'm a business person, I think a bit different than most contractors. The uamcc Needs working capital, we cannot work or run anything without that. We need programs in place that require money to get and keep the support of contractors.

Maybe like I said before thats why these orgs fail, in the past someone called someone a Thief. They are gone, why because they are either a thief or never believed in this org to begin with.
This UAMCC is not laying down over a few un-happy folks or 200 un=happy folks. We all believe what we are doing is for the betterment of the industry. Theres the difference along with Integrity

I don't get balled in a knot over a few months of censorship Ron.....I usually just move on. I tried to just move on when I offered in email to drop this whole thing and move on but I suppose you thought I could never prove my posts get removed here......now, Guy Blackmon has taken it upon himself to censor me on another forum....
26 months is a long time to brew.....I'd say it's a pretty reasonable guy that has to have posts deleted for over two years and two forums before he addresses it publicly.....and even then after being ignored privately. a simple apology and acknowledgement in private would have been enough for me.
Guess which PWI member was in the middle of the 2010 thread deletion? The excuse I was given for why my thread and posts disappeared was that it was an accident while trying to remove personal insults directed towards me.

This was after he stalked me off of one forum (over the UAMCC) and then you spotted me on TGS and sent me a PM inviting me to join PWI. I was a PWI member for about a month and already the Mods were trying to clean up this man's mess.....already deleting my posts.
