Anyone ELSE Like HOT Peppers ??

I just went to the local restaurant with my Yellow Amazon Peppers.
Had me a steak and mashed real potatoes.
Ate it with the peppers!
Drank plenty of Milk .... Hope I will be OK tomorrow ?
 
I like peppers too, but you guys can have the really hot ones. I was in M. Beach years ago with bad sun burn and was challenged to eat this little green pepper and that was it, milk, beer water juice cola nothing helped. It burned my ass up for hours.

What does a Hot Pepper have to DO with a Sunburn :eek:
I WONDER - since I LOVE Hot Peppers - IS there any way to KEEP from having your AZZ burned up when you expel the hot peppers :confused:
 
The peppers made the sunburn hurt more than before I ate them, I have no reason why.
 
Blood flow. When you eat chili peppers, it dilates the capillaries, and so it makes the skin warmer.

We don't know nothing about peppers in Arizona. We have little candy spices called Habaneros, but they are not that hot.

If you want some hot stuff, try some Harisa. It is an Arab pepper paste. That stuff about killed me. I put about half of a two ounce can in some chili I made once, in a 5 qt stock pot. It made it too hot for anyone to eat. My sinuses were clear, though.

When I think about Hot Peppers I think about Texas/Louisiana people.
Hard for me to imagine Arabs were into them too ?
I thought all they ate was Dates and drank Camels Milk ?
 
OMG - I can hardly handle mild salsa. Most of the salsas at the restaurants are way too hot for me. I had my best friend who is in the Army put some plain ol' hot sauce on some green beans I made and asked me to try it...I thought he was saying my green beans were bad when he asked me "Hey...taste this, will ya?" Lit my mouth on fire! I was drowning myself at the sink trying to wash it off. He forgot how I was about hot stuff. They have mini bottles of Tobasco sauce in all their MRE's so he is acquainted to hot stuff.

Honest Nichole SOME Hot Peppers actually have FLAVOR :D
But hot suace on Green Beans ?

Try this:

Roast a dozen Jalapeno peppers on the grill

while rinsing them in the sink pull off the skin and then slice them in half lengthwise,

then take out the seeds and put them in a mixture of soy sauce and water and let then hang out for a while!

Enjoy alone or with some crackers and cream cheese and an Ice cold Modelo!

Love Thai food! It was one reason why we went to Thailand, for the food.

I LOVE that stuff - and the local Thai place puts PLENTY of Cilantro on it for me too.

There is a similar Thai dish made from wider Rice Noodles ?
I also like the Green Thai Curry - YUMMY :D
