Any advice?

I just found out that my partner used the last bit of Simple Cherry last night on a job and we have a job planned for tomorrow. Soo that wouldn't allow us to order any for tom. Any advice on what to use to mask the bleach smell as well as sc, and also to help with the foaming to cling to the surface

Not sure what you are asking here, all you need is a credit card to order more simple cherry.

Who is tom, your "partner"?

Have not found anything else that helps to mask the smell as good as the simple cherry yet.

Every once in a while you read something and just crack up, thanks for the chuckle

I love the smell of bleach, what do you want to hide the smell of money for? LOL

You can use some store bought Simple Green it comes in 1 gallon and 5's quite often at Lowes and Home Depot SMELLS nice in a mix and it clings and cleans pretty good too

I will re-answer.

I keep about 30 to 40 pounds of simple cherry at all times because some of the "emergency" cleaning jobs for inspections. It would take too long to order and wait for it to arrive so I just keep a lot on hand.

Most house washes only use about 1/2 pound so when you buy a 10 pound bag, that is usually good for about 20 houses of average size.

So if you are doing more than 20 houses per week, one bag per week should keep you set.

How many houses are you washing per week so we can help you figure out how much you will need to order???

As I use a bag, I order another bag or two so I don't run out.

If I get a call for a very large project then that day I will order more from Bob at PressureTek so it might get here in time, if not then I have enough most of the time just in case.

For better foam or cling, you need more additives and for the best cling you will need an air compressor and foam machine but most will only shoot 15 to 25 feet out but only 15 feet high so it is not worth the effort most of the time on the jobs I do.

In the past two weeks I have done 15 houses. When i got my first order of SC dog ripped into it and spread it all over the yard so I was left with barely any. I have been using just blue dawn and 10% SH. But the bleach smell gets on my nerves

Some people grew up using bleach to clean floors, wash the white clothes and sanitize stuff so they are used to the smell, for them it will not really matter that much but there are customers that really do not like it.

You can use whatever you like and what gives you a good job, it is just personal preference. I prefer the simple cherry, it helps hide the smell some, it has rinse aids and more stuff that I do not know what it is or does but I know that it is one of the better things I have found for exterior house cleaning or exterior building cleaning.

Be careful when using dish soap, if it is the "Ultra" or something else than the regular, it can have a reaction with the bleach and make deadly fumes, usually there is a warning on the label. Besides the fumes, I do not know if there would be an adverse affect from the chemicals reacting with each other on the surface being washed, that is something to think about.

Truth is always the best answer, you don't want to get caught lying or lying to cover up more lying, it will never end.

It might be kind of hard to believe if you tell them that "My Dog Ate My House Wash Soap". hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

sorry, I could not resist that one. hahahahahahaha

Tell them what happened and that you are ordering more and you will call them when it arrives to re-schedule.

Or

You can use another soap unless they don't like the smell of bleach, let them be the ones to decide.

i didn't mean tell them that.. i meant i would just tell them im awaiting a shipment of chems and when they arrive we can re-schedule... not use the ole dog ate my homework excuse lol

I too use dawn when I run out of SC.

15 houses in your first 3 weeks in business. You should be posting some of your marketing methods. Unless you are charging $99 a house.

good talking to you Destin, best of luck to you and let me know If I can help you anymore.
