I am not a fan of the thin bar design, I think they would bend real easy. Just because it is alot smoother dosen't mean it dont clean well. Whisper Wash when new is very smooth until break in.

The mosmatic bars are quite thin and light I have not hit it hard yet, just grazed the nozzles.

In my opinion the BE swivels are not as high precision as the mosmatics, however they both work.

Nick , you mean to say that the whisper wash has given you problems?

The best arms are the on the Landa Water Jet. You can adjust the speed of the nozzle, the surface impact and if one broke it cost about 6.00 for a new piece of pipe. Only problem no recovery.

I have done it with a 20" BE's Whirl-A-Way 3 arm (steel), the mosmatics swivel and bar ( Aluminium) is much better, the BE is height adjustable however. I like the mosmatic and have the BE as back up, here is a video when I first got the mosmatic, I must admit I think it spins faster now that it is broken in.</EMBED>

I was wrong mosmatics arms are SS,

Tom D seems like they have an adjustable bar too the "s" style

No Problems with the wisper wash, I have been running wisper wash surface cleaners for a long time. I do go thru bars but they hold up alot better than the thin bars on some of these other surface cleaners. I can kick up rocks and sand and not have a bar bend on me, I had a surface cleaner years ago with the thin bars and in my experiance they did not hold up at all. It was a Simpson S/C and it was the first and last time I owned one like it since.

Tom thanks for letting me take a guess at it, that is a nice rig, maybe one day I'll have a rig like that

It all depends on your needs. Some guys don't need all of that stuff. Others can't even bid without owning recovery and recycling equipment. Green sells. Big chains require this type of equipment along with some counties, states and potws.

Thanks for the reply Nick.

Tom, interested to here your recommendations for entry level recover and recycle system to the one listed here for 36,500. (or have you done bigger).

Nigel I have done bigger and smaller. Just tell me how much water you wnat to recover, how much hose you want to use and what size surface cleaner. I will tell you wht you need. Hot and Mighty now has a 285cfm vacuum system for single operator applications. Of course their are many out there that do not work for much less. I can sell you something that won't work for less if you like. Just let me know I aim to please.

Come on Tom D dont do me wrong, whatever you sell me I want it to be top notch.

Is that 285 cfm engine driven?

Post some pics of the bigger recycle systems , that would be nice.

Dont forget the reynolds # of the OWS, both sizes.

Can you help me out....here?
