9.6gpm @ 3500 PSI TWO MACHINE SUPER RIG

I'm thinking $36,500

Bing bing bing you won a big box of dog food. :rotflmao1:Just kidding for everyone that guessed thank you. To those who don't care thank you as well. ccobb send me your mailing address and I will send you a care package. Please include gallons per minute and pressure of your current pressure washer. I will send you a gun, wand and set of tips for making the correct guess.

Fixed !! I guess it gets easier after we narrowed it down for him..

To The Cleaner I apologize.

Your kidding right the crack was at the complaining. I met the owner of Envirospec in Chicago. Great Guy. I was joking. Lets not start the days of our lives music yet.

I am joking as well.

Don't worry Tom, yougot no grief from me. The last vendor that did is still trying to round up money for their end of an autism contibution:poke:
Everyone carry on, there is nothing to see here.

I think you guys just have the hots for each other. :kiss3:

:grin::grin::grin:

Thanks for your reply Tom D.

How much quieter is the bigger silencer.

What cfm is recommended for 30" Mosmatic vac surface cleaner with 8 gpm.

Nigel I will have to check. I normally only use the 21". I know most think the bigger the better but I find even with 8gpm I walk slower with the bigger surface cleaner. I do know that you can only get 300 cfm through that long of 2" Vac Hose. So you know the silencer can be mounted under the trailer. I would say its 30% quieter with the longer silencer.

Gardner Denver

Tom, what brand blower are you running and why have you chose that brand, ie. Roots, Sutorbilt etc..

I use a Gardner Denver Blower. Sutorbuilt is the sister company. I chose this because I have been using Gardner Denver water jetting equipment for years. They have a well established network of servicing dealers.

I hear what you are saying with the forward walk rate and the bigger surface cleaner.

But I wonder what the numbers look like,

Lets say 5.5 @3500 to the 21" and 8 @3500 to the 30"

The 30" is 1.42 times bigger than the 21"

Interesting that the arc distance length between nozzles on both SC's are almost the same 30" = 31.4" and 21" = 32.97"

The potential impact force to the 30" is 473.28

The potential impact force to the 21" is 325.38

Although the 30" has an extra arm (an app. additional 23" of pipe or 2.14 times the amount of pipe) you should calculate the amount of force distributed per inch of arm length that should give you a good starting point of possible rpm differences :....

21" has ~21" of pipe with 325.38 potential force behind it thus 325.38/21 = 15.49 force per inch

30" has ~45" of pipe with 473.28 potential force behind it thus 473.28/45 = 10.51 force per inch

I really dont think the 30" spins much slower than the 21" and have found that the overall time to completed the same sq.ft with the 30" @ 8gpm 3500psi was faster, but you have to give the surface cleaner the full true input.

Most run 8 gpm at 3000 psi and have great pressure losses with extreme lengths of smaller hose, that is the big handicap of the 30" SC user.

Tom D do you have a stroboscope at the shop, maybe you can measure different spinner rpms for us, that will be great.

Nigel,

If you take the same 21" surface cleaner and put 8gpm @ 3000psi how does that work out. Let me know.

I have done it with a 20" BE's Whirl-A-Way 3 arm (steel), the mosmatics swivel and bar ( Aluminium) is much better, the BE is height adjustable however. I like the mosmatic and have the BE as back up, here is a video when I first got the mosmatic, I must admit I think it spins faster now that it is broken in.

I am not a fan of the thin bar design, I think they would bend real easy. Just because it is alot smoother dosen't mean it dont clean well. Whisper Wash when new is very smooth until break in.
