I don't use electric pumps,...but to eliminate the relay switch, could you use a bypass valve?
Jeff
What type of pumps do you use?

Thats actually 1/2 in hose! Its is from Bob, I use 40 gallon orfices and the flow is almost exactly the same as 5/8. Its is about half the weight as well and not rubber coated so it slides way easier and does not drag on shingle edges, much much better!
In this video you saw the out put at factory settings on the Delavan Fatboy with a 2540 tip after coming thru 300 feet of 1/2 in hose.
Russ where did you buy the 5/8 hose and the jrod for the tips. I like that system
Hey Russ ...great video. The 1/2" hose is standard for the FB isn't it?
Anybody know how many hours you can run it without it overheating or cutting out. Will it hold up to 10 or so hours a day?
How are the roller pumps holding up for you? when we used the Chemical bandit, we used Hypros and delevans and neither one would hold up for very long.
I bought a couple of these to play with. One was the complete engine and pump. Sprays a lot of water but haven't tried it with bleach. The other one was in the clearance aisle because of the volute being cracked. Got the engine for $110.william, (offdutydude)
do you have the northern tool part number? what part to we need to order from bob to make up our own bobkat?
thanks,
rando
They hold up for about a month of roof cleaning,..but I use it mostly for applying my house wash mix these days and as a backup to the NDP-15.
The key to making roller pumps worth using is making them easily changeable in the field. They're relatively cheap and they shoot very well for a while and they will make you money,..... above and WAY beyond what they cost.
Rinsing them goes without saying,... and also,...I just learned from Apple, that unhooking the supply line when not in use will help also because chlorine is also a gas and very corrosive. So I think unhooking from the electric pumps would be of benefit as well.

There is not enough money out there to get me to start doing roofs.
Now your trying to start something.![]()
I am trying to come up with something for rinsing large amounts of concrete. The trash pump I got puts out about 10 gallons a minute thru half inch garden hose but not a lot of pressure. I don't think it will hold up to bleach. I want something to spray a strong solution on the stucco hotels I do.
