2001 Rejoined Military as SSG for two reasons 1. 9/11 2. Only had 8 years to get full time retirement.
2003 Made SFC Deployed to Iraq OIF II Oct 03 - Jan 05.
2005 Still Full time Guard Now a journalist (long story having been a Tanker God)
2008 Counting down retirement date OCT 09, but start leave Jun 09. Plan to start PT PWing spring 09 and go full force Jun 09

Did you know we took over 100 dead in Afghanistan and our your principle western allies in the south,

Many of these guys killed and wounded were friends (this happens when your small)

However its understanding that a lot of people dont know that were there... however if you asked your Army im sure they would have a lot of good to say about us.

Did a bunch of other stuff in between real gigs, like working as a line cook, drove a lowboy, gambled more money then I had,worked on a cruise ship, did a whole lot of traveling, been to every state, eastern and western Caribbean, parts of s.America, parts of western Europe,Guam. Played high level hockey, traveled with goodwill team all over the place. Took a train ride across the country.....

Learned one great lesson along the way "first you must survive"

2014 -death retire and watch the sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico:lol:
and wow, what a long strange trip it's been.......
