Rooftop Snow Removal and Ice Dam Removal

LOL, that was funny! We too have a cold front coming to Tampa, the first of this season, that may also drop us down into the 70's.
This was a very very rainy summer for us, licking my chops, the rain makes more roof algae for us to clean!
But soon the roof cleaners up north will have to deal with snow removal, and cold weather.

We are getting close. Low 40,s this morning.

Well, we have had guys clean roofs up north in as low as 35 degree weather. The roof cleaning chemical just takes more time to work, and often requires a bit more stronger mix, but our roof cleaners say they clean in the cold, up North.
Sunny days are always best, if it is cold outside. What you do NOT want is a very cold, overcast day.
Some guys have told me they warm up the roofs, one small section at a time, with a hot water power washer, then spray with a very strong mix (the hot water on the roof automatically dilutes the roof cleaning chemical)
Cold Weather roof cleaning IS possible! Just bring a lunch pail, because the chemical may take a good while to work.

The link for the ice damn and snow roof removal is no longer working, does anyone have another link?
