Hey, everybody!

Well, its finally fully operational! My brand new website showcasing a bunch of my work and ultimately, my best marketing tool to date!

I designed all the graphics and it was programmed by my good colleague Jerry Beckett (who incidentally, is also a great designer of web pages as well as a programmer).

Well, ya'll check it out, and let me know what you think!

Keith Started his pressure washing carreer here on PWI years ago 03-28-2003, is Keith still out there doing logos?
 
Their was a pretty nasty public Lynching of him on another bbs. (one you cant read Tony and ron lol).

everybody loved his work up until he missed a few phone calls..... it escalated with 3-4 pages. The worst part everybody loved

his work and his really really low prices. When the beating started not many people came to his defense. I'm guessing he must

have felt like why bother. funny thing was not many people gave a thought about ruining his reputation/business.. causing

a great deal of HARM.


Now for the edit: I understand he didnt return the calls ..If someone did that to me Id call and if he didnt retun my call I'd find

someone else. What I wouldnt do is destroy another mans business with internet posts so he couldnt make a living.

Public Lynching? Not sure I saw that, but I do recall trying to contact him by phone and e-mail for about 3 weeks before I gave up on him.

He does great work and while it all looks the same to me, I was going to try to get him to do some non-logo stuff for me because he clearly is a talented guy.

Apparently he had some personal stuff going on and the business took a back seat to it which I understand. I never tried to contact him again after that, something that we can all take away from my "customer service" experience....communication is key when dealing with customers or potential customers even if it is to say you are unable to perform the given task as the moment.

Have you ever known people to think for themselves? They are all too stupid and just follow blindly ....what idiots. They simply regurgitate what ever the esteemed leader happen to piss into their ear that day!

He did work for people I know and did good work. I spoke to him in 2008 and his prices had changed and we never crossed paths since then.
 
His rep wasn't ruined in the blink of an eye or zero to sixty. He didn't return phone calls or emails for weeks on end or communicate. His business was ruined by him, not others relating their experiences. Sorry if someone has personal problems or whatever. Leave a message stating such and that you will be temporarlily closed. Don't take orders and never respond. I never used him because I don't do advertising and all of his stuff looked the same to me. Carry on.

Assuming this is correct he did ruin his own reputation. When you own a small business you have to take care of business. It's not like working for a big corporation. No one is going to do your job. You can't call in sick for weeks. You have an obligation to take care of your customers or let them know that you can't. I'm sure most here have suffered personal problems myself included and dealt with it. Sounds like his rep is tarnished not ruined. I hope he is able to get back at it.

I had Keith make my logo, made some post cards, made 2 different business cards and all was excellent work!

I always had great dealings with him.
 
I have used Keith for years, probably 6 or more. I finally have asked on the BB's where he has gone, I was concerned and yes very mad. I had a whole marketing plan for 2010 and to tell you the truth, he screwed me and its sad. My revised website is 97% complete and I cannot get a hold of him for anything. I had print advertising he was suppose to do. I spent hours, DAYS, more hours and more days working on text and pictures for my revised website and that started early Dec 2009, after he said it would take a few weeks, get a page complete and he said more would come later in the day, weeks later I might get another page or some corrections from him and then nothing for days and weelks, it was VERY aggravating and I wondered why. Don't come right out and promise and not deliver time and time again
I am still mad, I have heard a few excuses from him and I even offered my help to him in anyway he needed, only to be promised things and then nothing
I am actually very concerned for him, but I am also very mad. I have heard NOTHING from him since mid March
I have magazines with NO ads in them, because of this, I have other magazines that have old outdated ads in them and I have a revised website that I worked hard on just sitting in limbo. ALL THIS I can say probably cost me thousands if not 10's of thousands in LOST revenue. My advertising brings in work for my company, it doesn't bring in anything since my advertising now hasn't been put out there for the year of 2010. It really screwed me for 2010
My revised website was packed with new text and info and some great pictures, my customers and perspective customers can't see. Man I get mad thinking about this...oh well

I hope Keith is alright, but After years of a great relationship,I expect more, just tell me the truth and I can deal with things. Well 2009 & 2010 has many lies and let downs for me, but I will always move forward. I have found a new company, just don't have time to work with them right now, my schedule is just to busy, but I cant wait to get the work started
This is business and its not a public lynching, you say you are going to do something, you should do it or tell the truth and say you cant, its that simple. Don't leave people/customers hanging. I feel like I was lynched

Like I sid oh well. I wish Keith the best, I truly hope he's OK, its one of the weirdest thing I have see
