fuel efficiency

Our Red truck uses about 5 gph of Lp when running flat out. This is running the Genset (350 engine) and boiler (980,000 Btu).

Current price of propane here is $1.58/gal.

Thanks Russ,

Whats their fuel pressure with the 4.00 nozzle?.......

and what size of boiler is it? ..............20"

Do you now who makes their coil for their 8.8 gpm machine?

How many feet of coil do you suspect it has?

Trying to find out if I have the same coil on mine, builder says near 275 ft of 1/2" pipe.

Yes, it's 20", and 275 sounds about right. If you like, I can call them Mon. to verify.

Thank You Russ, ...............Intresting.

I wonder why landa felt that they had to do a 3/4" 300ft coil on the SLT/SLX models.

I could understand the 3/4", to reduce back pressure, landas high flow pumps are rated 3200psi and less.

I could understand why the alkota coils are over 475ft on their bigger machines, because of their "cold water wrap" design, layer of outer pipe carrying cold water.

But what does landa have in terms of design in their 300ft coil? As compared to the 1/2" ...4 pancake, hydrotek, and others
