Beckett Ignitor ?

ya know I had that one up to 300 degrees at one time but it caused all kinds of headaches, I had to turn this down after the new ignitor was installed.

I am saddened by the way the Pressure Pro was designed, very very poorly wired, there were wires with no insulation on them (bare in some areas) this was from the factory!

It has come a part where it was mounted to the base (twice) as well.

I have another that I ordered that is a pressure pro and is a completely different design, the one with the problems is a 2008 model and is tall and skinny with a square fuel tank, the other was also ordered in 2008 and is about 8 inches bigger around and a foot shorter and has a round tank but it is built like a war ship and the base is well constructed.

So thats my take I am extremely dissatistfied with the Pressure Pro product so far. Up until then I had only owned Alkotas and 1 Tuff Skid, I know where 4 of my Alkotas are right now that get almost daily use and are still in great shape. I also have a Pressure Pro cold water unit that is falling apart as well, same parts as the Alkota but put together poorly !

Im lovin' my Alkota...may order me a new skid by next year....I have been looking at them!
Just need a few big jobs to put me over the edge to go ahead and make the call!

Not meaning anything bad onto you by this however it is nice to see that i am not the only one with pressure pro problems. After speaking with them they wanted me to ship a machine back to them, allow them to go over it and fix the problems with it. I am fine and dandy with that if they are going to give me another to put to work while this one is down. Aweful customer support from the factory and I will never purchase another one of their units. Its so sad to see that there are only a few variations in manufactures in relation to motors, pumps, pressure switches, coils, burners, ..... but very few can put a machine together that will not fall apart when used reguarly by a contractor. If you find one that works well let us all know and quite a few will be purchasing those machines from here on out.

You also know that there is only one person on the boards that can reach those temps, who are you kidding

LOL
:D:D

Russ I am not up on the burns and stuff but as much work you put your burns through would it be better for you to run LP hot bux setup

It is my understanding that a LP burner dose burn hotter and cleaner. There are allot of benefits to the LP burner. The one draw back ... Finding LP on the job and also caring and extra tank of LP.

If the unit was stationary, I would go with the LP.

Trailer mount, working long hours.... traveling.... finding a LP station that is open at 1 am if you run dry. That is what stops me from going LP. Diesel if you are in that field. Diesel is easier to find at 2 am then LP.

Russ Johnson, thanks for the help!

Russ called me and helped me out then sent me the part I needed, it came in and works great and my washer is 10 degrees hotter with the same settings as the old ignitor!

Thanks again Russ

You are quite welcome...thanks for the biz...;)

Thanks Jim I am not running hot water little in very big pound right now I would say you and Run and Ron big fish good guys to learn from. I hoping to add hot box by the end of the year. I only do residental work right now so no need for hot water.

Got to get you some hot water....I use it on driveways on residential jobs....cleans better and faster!!!
You will be glad of the investment I promise!
