i have been offered a honda 13 hp gx360....3000psi...4gpm fitted

with a inter pump with a 2to1 reduction box on it. which he says the pump will run at half speed, draws better and will last longer.

its 12 months old and in v/ good condition but does not know how many hours is on it(he is a dealer)...its on a skid.

to buy new here it would cost £2000-£2100 he is asking £850 with 4 months parts and labour.

not sure but £850=about $1200

second hand cold units are hard to find over here and hot ones are like hens teeth to get .

Paul right now I cann't see how a grear reduction on the pump would make it pump the same gpm or psi...shade some light on this.

I can see however the reduction making the motor run at half speed making it last longer and the pump getting its rpm's.

yeh this makes more sense but he was talking about the inter pump at the time....i did'nt want to seem to keen incase i go and have a look at it(80miles away).

pw'ing is a different world over here, there is no single operators
running over here like you guys do so i dont want to lash out on the top stuff and find out people like thier houses the way its been for the last 50 years or whatever(there all brick over here)
