Yellow Pages Ad

You showed me yours so I'll show you mine. Here is a before and after on the roof. Still washing the last side of the house and doing some windows in the after picture.

Oh about 2 weeks.....Nah we started slowly in 2001 and maybe did about 50 houses in 4 years. Then in 2006 we got really heavy into marketing and opened up into the commercial market as well. So really heavily we have been at it about a year. We plowed last winter and plan on doing that again just to stay alive during those months.

plowing ???? sounds like a farming thing , but I know what you meant
 
Our trailers do look the same. I changed the jack on mine to a swivel jack because I couldn't open my tail gate with out hitting it. Too bad I didn't do that before the dents got put in! My main marketing is promoting my website. It is really bringing me a lot of business. When I was slower I also used signs, flyers, and doorhangers. Oh and yellow pages (grrr...just paid off Bell South the other day). If you got your two ads that size for 91.00/month, then that is a good deal. Mine was a LOT more. I'll send you a picture of one of my signs.
 
You know, I have been thinking about doing the corrugate plastic signs 18"x24" and sticking them on the sides of busy roads. I didn't know how well that worked. I have a design ready, just hesitant to try something new I guess.
 
At the bottom of where you type in your post, there is a buttom that says "Manage Attachments" click there and it will take to to another window, there you will be able to upload your photos to the board.

Ok, here is one of my signs. It is two sided. I made the silk screens myself and made the signs myself. It ends up costing me about 2 dollars a sign after some initial costs. You will lose some signs, and some will stay put for a long time. You can also ask customers to leave them in their yard for a week or so. They do work.

When I have time I will make some pressure washing and house washing signs. Those, I think, will work even better. Here is a crazy gutter cleaning job we did the other day
