X-jet

As I am quickly learning....it sucks going up and down ladders. I was looking at the X-JET nozzle. Is this effective as they say it is? What other things are out there that you guys use to get your cleaner and washing done WAY UP THERE on those high houses? I am sure this saves you TONS of time also in doing jobs.

I can get three stories up from the ground without any extention, just a 0040 tip downstreaming .. i prefer it never tried x-jet don't really want to either.. theres a demo video on here somewhere i'll find it for you..

here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NoU_t1p4Qs

thats FCPWLLC video.. good demo video i think

I am currently working on an apartment complex with three story buildings. Doing it all from the ground with an x-jet.

I use x jets, m5 x jets and downstreaming. If you use the proportioners I believe x jets are easier to use than downstreaming. If your just cleaning 2 or 3 story homes, buy and m5 x jet, you will love it compared to ladders and extension wands!

I use an M5 Xjet it will throw chems about 30 ft high, but when its real windy it sparays it everywhere.I also like to use my 1/4 hose barb threaded into a 1/4 quick connect it does just as well as the Xjet but you can't adjust the spray pattern like the M5.

On very high stuff I use 1/4 tubing with quick connects I have 4 ft and 8 ft sections and I just use them as I need them.I've tried the big extenda-wands and they are way to heavy, the tubing weigh about 2 pounds and you can put 2 8 footers together and including you and your 3 ft wand and you 20 or so feet off the ground and with the 1/4 babrb fitting you can reach easy 45 feet.
Some of those extenda wands don't pull chems very well either.

I downstream 95% of the time because of the bucket brigade aspect of the Xjet. The only time I really use the Xjet is to get real aggressive with the chems and to rinse.I use it as a softwasjing tool as on my machine it only puts out about 750 PSI at the tip and you can adjust it for reach and up close.

I use it on a fleet of trucks we do. I use milk jugs prediluted with chemical to make it easier. The side benefit is I can tell exactly how much chem is being used. It takes a little more planning, but as I look to add an employee it will make resource management easier. I've also used it on my single story house and yes it will shoot clear over it, so my 5 year old thinks I've got the coolest water gun ever.

cool guys....looks lke the Mx5 is the ideal thing for me now. Whats the difference in the downstreaming and the mx5?

I like the water cnnon

Im the Xjet King, I use it for everything we do, its a good tool. If you arent using a ton of pressure line and doing house etc you may want to use downstreamimg I here its easy and you can make up different nozzles to shot pretty darn high

I love my Xjet

you know how to pressure wash jeff!!!!!!! lol

I have been doing 3 story buildings that peek up to 4 stories downstreaming using 0040 and 0030 tips get u a plastic 1/4 inch ball valve put it about two inches from your injecter and after spraying soap you turn the valve off and you can use those same tips too rinse with

Or just put a ball valve before your gun and close it just enough to stop drawing chem.

there is a guy that sells the light weight ball valves that you put right before your gun and you turn it completely off and it will get spraying soap the down side it will only work on 5.5 or lower mine is an 8

I just use the bandit now...got the ball valve to switch from chems to water, and can shoot about 30-50 feet depending on the wind. Pricey but well worth it

Anyone ever try the Chemical Injector Induction System that Envirospec sales? It doesn't say how high it shoots, but it does say you can attach 500 feet of line and still draw chemical. For $225 I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a good investment when we go to a two man crew.
