WTF? Has everyone gone crazy?

So, our machine has been winterized and parked - surrounded by snow now mind you. We get a housewash to do today (yippee for these last minute jobs and 42 degrees!) and Roger goes out to get everything ready.

Some a**hole has unbolted half the pump - and disabled the machine :( Don't know if they were trying to steal it and something stopped them or what but my hell - are there no GOOD people left on earth? :girl_cray3:

I think I am a good person, but I don't live in NC. I do have an employee from SC, though...

That is a bummer, except that it wasn't stolen. It could have been so much worse.

Not sure why it wasn't stolen - like I said, I think there was a problem for Mr. A**hole - but for the money we're losing on the friggin' repair instead of washing, he might as well have gotten it. We have spare pumps :( I'm so annoyed! 42 degrees may be fine to wash in but working on metal parts is a whole different animal!!

No - mainly because nothing was actually gone but the bolts and it seems like we're the target of the year because we DO file charges :(

That is the way it works. We were living in the projects of Winder GA for a while (didn't know Winder had projects til we moved there...lol) and since we were the only people who kept things nice we were always targeted.

That sucks. And to top it off you might not have know that and you could have drove off and since the pump and some parts were loosened something could have fell off and killed someone. I bet something scared the thief causing him to bolt like somebody turning a light on.

The way Technology is going your going to start seeing more and more houses with tiny camara's on them....I'm thinking of doing that myself one of these days.

A cool gadget I think Robert Hindeliter sells is a GPS piece that goes somewhere on your trailer hidden so if you wake up one day and your trailer is gone you can track where your trailer is. Thats another thing I'm going to look into since we go on the road once in awhile to do jobs and you just never know when your sleeping what scum will try to take off with everything.

The tiny camera things that we've looked at would serve a dual purpose - we want the hunting cameras :) They're designed to work at night without scaring the deer so they'd work well for yards you'd think!

I'm just betting that we'll go through the inconvenience of putting the trailer in the storage building after this!

sorry for the bad luck.

Perseverance pays off - machine put back together, house washed, we're all warm and fed. Life is good :)
