Would Humor Sell?

Ok in typical Puerto Rico fashion, I was just sent an invitation to a trade show that starts on Monday. This is the Puerto Rico Hotel & Tourism Association Anual Convention---this is the equivelent to NRA conventions in the mainland. ( No Russ and Ant Man not guns stop drooling..Nat. Restuarant Assoc.). Obviously way too late for me to scramble and rent a booth plus I have no marketing materials....here is what I was thinking. Obviously I will visit the trade show and network all I can. I was thinking of going to the costume shop getting a cop suit and taking one of my buddies with him ragged out and dirty looking with a placard on him that says "Grease" I would then walk around escorting him in the cop suit and handcuffs...when people ask me what the heck is going on I will respond that i am a Grease Arresting Agent from EnviroClean and hand them a business card..... WAY WAY TOO CHEEZY RIGHT??? This or some other spin but this is a zero budget Zero preparation scheme....You can bet your greasy spoon I'll be ready for the show next year.

The video should capture the local (real) police department escorting you and your friend out of the building. Most trade shows (as well as paying exhibitors) take a dim view of companies exhibiting at their shows without paying.

Having said all that, I too would want to see the video!
