wood siding prep

i have a condiminium complex to do the siding is wood, it has some spotty mold on the shady side and it is two story. they are going to paint it when im done, so the basically want me to get the mold off and knock anything loose off. will using bleach to kill the mold interfere wth the paint sticking? can you please give me some advice on how i should go about doing this? what size tip should i use? i really dont want to spend a long time on it cause they dont want to pay for too many hours. how long should they wait before painting? thanks.

If it were me

i would call Beth at See Dirt Run and use EFC38 as the cleaner or make my own cleaner that was a mix of pre-carb bleach,[TSP]tri-sodium phousphate, and Dawn.
TSP you can get at home depot in the paint dept. It chem. sands painted surfaces.
If you have a x-jet tip use it.
If you dont make a tip from home depot parts.
Use a quick disconnect plug[male end] then use a 1/4 inc coupler[double female]. Screw it onto the plug. Then use a 1/4 inc hose barb. They sell diffent size hose barbs. Get a couple of sizes.
[plastic bins with fold down doors in the plumbing dept]
This will shoot your chem pretty far [use your downstreamer]
How long to wait to paint depends on how much is exsposed wood and the temp outside.
3 dry days should be enuff.[because of the shady side, that's why 3 days]
