Has anyone had a problem with window streaking. We washed a house a couple weeks ago and the owner called yesterday saying the the windows were streaky and she tried to clean with windex and could not get them out. She said they are more noticable when the sun is hitting the window. we used 2-3% chlorine mix and rinsed off some of the windows probably had some of the solution dry on it but have never had this problem before wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what to use to clean it. We've had to go back a few times for both house washes and roof cleans. So far they always comes clean with a good cold water rinse. I'm always skeptical when they wait 2 weeks to complain.

If you can't get the streaks out using normal window cleaner and a little elbow grease then its time to use a little abrasive. Wet the window down a little bit and use 0000 steel wool on it, then throw the steel wool away because it will start to rust and won't be any good.
