Wind is Driving Me Crazy

Any one got any great tips for working in the wind? Got a condo complex I'm working on this week and an apartment complex next week. After about 10 a.m. the wind has been blowing about 20mph.

Set up a big fan to hold back the wind. Hahaha!

Maybe its time to break out the extension wand. 6-10 lance...I'm not talking about the yellow noodle.
 
Windy here too. Went to wash house 510 today....got more soap on house 512. Guess I should have stood in the yard of 508......
 
Reschedule. If its over 15mph, we reschedule. For roofs anyways.
 
We've been fighting it too. Literally spraying between the gusts. Steady 12mph and up we call it a day unless the homes are pretty far apart. Just have to water a larger area.

I do like the idea of passing the: Wind Reduction Act of 2010. Any winds over 15mph we can stay home and get paid anyway.
 
Wind makes working this time of year very tricky.
It has been waaaay too windy here to do anything. We'll play catchup later.

I've been using a 6 foot wand with an 8 foot extension and standing on an 8 foot ladder. I need to spray about 30' high. Job is right on Mobile Bay so it makes the wind even worse. My van was covered in bleach. Wish I had time to reschedule, I've got to get these condos done this week. I have to be ready to start a new project on Monday.

Looks like I'm not the only one fighting the wind.
 
Most probably have their own source but I've found this site to be pretty close as far a wind predictions. If you use Local> Hourly Forecast you can select Today , Tomorrow or Next day. It's only a educated guess but it sometimes gives us a window for a roof wash etc.

We have been having 15-20 mph wind with 30 gusts.
