Ya mean something like this? This place wanted the mold cleaned off because the workers refused to work in this room.(I wonder why!) I told them I couldn't guaranty that the lights would still work when I was done and they still agreed that I clean the ceiling. I never got a call saying they blew out or anything and I got paid so I guess they were OK. I did however cover all the electrical outlets with tape and had them cut the power and told them to leave it off for a few days to let it dry out.

Back to the original post, Mark, if you wash those lights when they are on, the bulbs will explode. The transformers inside are water tight. But I wouldn't pull the bubs on a few and shoot it with a pw. Those lights run on about 24,000 volts. milli amps but very high voltage.

If needed, I would leave them off and bring in temp lighting if needed.
