Hey Russ,

Hi there my name is Jim FitzGerald and I am new to your website. First I must say that this website is really great, what a wealth of information, and it's entertaining at the same time. I live and work here in south florida and very few people here that I know use hot water, is it mostly used by you guys up north?

I do mostly residential work, exteriors, driveways, etc.

Best way to get the point across.... Do you wash your dishes with hot or cold water? Do you shower with Hot or Cold Water?

Hot water cleans most surfaces better.

Hot water cuts through grease and oils, and cold water just gets them wet.

Is it worth the added expense for the difference in cleaning?

YES In my oponion Hot water is the only way to clean , no you dont need to use it on painted surfaces but as far as cleaning in general , it cleans faster and better than just a regular cold water ... I personally feel its a MUST HAVE for the serious contractor, though oponions may vary

Thats all we use is HOT WATER !! I can get away without using chemicals in some cases because the heat lift's just about everything out of the concrete.
