Maybe a real lame question but here goes anyway? How do you guys work the hose on the reels...I'll explain, My hase is getting tagled on the reel , it unwinds it's tight coil and creates a big mess. Do you pull all of the hose off the reel at the beginig of the job? I bought cheap cox reels, just a hand crank no guides. Sorry for the newbiness.

If you dont have a reel lock, then you have to pull all of the hose off..Each time you go on and off the wand or sweeper it will kick the reel and bunch up the hose.Check to see if you have a hose brake on the side of the reel,if you do,simply apply it after you pulled enough hose out to reach your job..:D

Damaged reel!

Be carefull! If you start up you machine with the hose on the reel you can crush the reel.
